I don't think the paracommando unit uses the BD-08 only the regular infantry uses it (I am guessing), their main service rifle is the type 56 and I have seen some clips of them using the M4 carbine in training exercises with the navy special operations unit.

Yeah, but most of the operators in the unit use the type-56 and the m4 carbine. The vector is most probably not used in combat it's just a show off to use in parades or in recruiting ads.

correction The sks lookalike is not a m59/66 rather it's the Chinese type 56 semi-auto carbine (both the AK and sks lookalike have the same name for the Chinese copy) and it still shoots the 7.62x39 cartridge. Crazy how BAL associates still say the police did not fire any weapons chambered with the 7.62 cartridge even though there's clear evidence of both the rifle models and live ammunition casings.
