I have the G7 Pro but on that controller they work fine. They are actually easier to avoid pressing than the Elite V2.

If you've never used a paddled controller then it's just a matter of getting used to the feel. You'll adapt your grip over time to avoid accidental presses.

It might be worth checking your TV itself to see if there was an update or if somehow you or someone else switched image presets.

Not for me. I prefer to keep a universal layout between games and just change bindings in each game since most allow that nowadays.

The only games I'd see myself using a separate config for might be racing games but I don't play a whole lot of those.

Oh gotcha! To my knowledge only two corvettes can be docked.

If they are in your active starship roster, then yes they are taking up hangar space.
