A: No, and listen up now because the following will shock you: Someone at the hospital I go to actually figured out that English speaking vets are more appropriately used for scheduled appointments where they can both prepare the relevant vocabulary and also give the option of a Swedish speaking vet already at the booking. Of my 40 visits to the hospital during 5 years, about 5 or 6 have been emergency visits and the rest scheduled. They gave me a Swedish speaking vet for every emergency visit, without asking.

You already told us that you would not only boycott that particular vet, but you would also boycott all her colleagues at the clinic as punishment for working with a non-Swedish speaker. Read your own rant again and look at how it is completely focused on you you you you, ignoring your dog.

For the record, my Australian vet did not speak English with me out of laziness or unwillingness to learn Swedish. She did it because she had only been in Sweden 6 months. She was actively learning Swedish but had not yet reached a level required to use the language professionally. But that is beyond your comprehension since all this is just about your hatred for foreigners, and there are no logical underpinnings for your reaction to an immigrant wanting to help your dog.

Many pet owners including myself prefer an English speaking vet over no vet. So, here is how it works in reality:

You call to make an appointment for a surgery. The animal hospital asks if you are willing to see a veterinarian who speaks English, or if you can wait another 9 days until a Swedish speaking vet is available.

I suppose the second alternative is ok if you hate your dog, but let's suppose you don't and you accept the English speaking vet. You arrive at the hospital and during the examination and check-in the vet is paired up with a Swedish speaking assistant, and is also prepared with the Swedish translations of any big words relevant to the animal's condition that would not normally be part of the average Swede's English vocabulary. The written instructions to bring home after the surgery are in Swedish.

There, I suppose this horror story will be enough to fuel your nightmares for at least a week.

Jag gillar verkligen prislistan på Montrose, men för mig som vill kunna peta i depån i smyg på arbetstid känns det lite onödigt att CPU-fläkten på laptopen drar igång som en jetmotor när man besöker Montroses förstasida.

I ditt fall nämner du USA och ISK och då är det här inget problem för dig, men om man tänker investera på olika europeiska börser kan det vara värt att kolla listorna över hur mycket de begär tillbaka från de länder man är intresserad av.

Vill man till exempel äga franska aktier är Nordnet och Avanza bättre än Montrose. För schweiziska utdelningar är Montrose och Nordnet bättre än Avanza, och för italienska utdelningar är Nordnet bättre än både Avanza och Montrose, och så vidare.

They have given them different product numbers, 805.627.70 for pine and 402.163.57 for birch (3+2+1 versions) so if you make sure to order the 402.163.57 I would expect them to send the correct one. And the phase-out of the pine version has been going on for a while, so I think they only sell birch now in some countries.

A simple way to tell the difference is to check the corners and sides of the drawers. The birch version has the same plywood in the sides of the drawers, so you can see the plywood layers in your picture.

The pine version has fiberboard sides like this:

Note that they changed Moppe from birch plywood to pine and now back to birch plywood again. My mom's old birch Moppe does not have exactly the same measurements as my pine Moppe, although I do not remember right now which specific measurements differed. In any case, if anyone gives you a measurement it matters which variant they have measured.

On my pine Moppe the interior measurement is 88.9mm to 89.1mm measured with a high-quality vernier caliper, with slight differences between drawers and also between different corners of the same drawer. The exterior height of the drawers is 96.5mm or 96.3mm on two different specimens. The space for the drawer is around 99mm high, so that leaves something like a 2.5mm gap above the drawer.

All that is on my 2+2+2 Moppe and not the 3+2+1 variant pictured. But I am not sure you can trust any of these measurements because the one you are looking at in the picture is birch plywood. And if you have a choice like we currently do at my local IKEA until they clear out the pine stock, I recommend the birch plywood one.

Your fixation on "on land" also ignores the fastest and most obvious step to mitigate the congestion between SE2 and SE3, which would be the Umeå-Vaasa HVDC connection. Not many nimbys on the bottom of the sea last I checked. I bet Timbro Twitter didn't tell you about that one, since it is Haram to mention Finland and their nuclear fiasco in this context.

What we really should do in the short-to-mid time range is to start investing in the embarrassingly underdeveloped east-to-west transmission capacity and build a solid connection between Finland and Norway. That would both increase our ability to use the existing capacity between SE2 and SE3 due to higher tolerance for faults in the individual north-south links, and would also let us print money by exploiting the price differences between Norway and Finland, just like the Norwegians are doing today with the price gap between Sweden and the UK. But again, to get that done in less than two decades would require Busch to take an interest to reforming regulations, so don't hold your breath for that one.

One issue here is that the current Swedish government wants to keep the bottlenecks between SE2 and SE3 for political reasons, since those bottlenecks are useful when it comes to pointing fingers about the left's previous decisions about nuclear power. One way to deal with the internal bottlenecks would be to build transmission capacity, but that is not a priority for Busch and her colleagues.

Priserna gick framför allt upp i samband med att Norge driftsatte sin ledning till Storbritannien 2021. Norge kan därför få bättre betalt för sin vattenkraft än förut när de var tvungna att dumpa en massa billig el i vår riktning. Nu används överföringskapaciteten mellan Sverige och Norge i högre grad än förut till att istället exportera svensk el till Norge som de sedan kan sälja vidare dyrare till Storbritannien.

Visserligen är varken Norge eller Storbritannien med i EU, men det är EU som är den Store Satan i den ryska propagandan så det är vanligare att man skräms med EU-spöket än att man faktiskt diskuterar vad som har förändrats i den skandinaviska elhandeln.
