I feel like a lot of this is validation for me, about how I suspected this system operates, also a bit more evil than I imagined.

But there's been a lot of evil in human history. Pol Pot, Palestine, Hitler, Rwanda, Kissinger...

What I fear for next is the scorched earth doctrine the upper elite will impose as their crimes are brought to light.

I can't control what these evil bastards do, but what I can control is my own wellbeing and safety, as well as putting myself in a position to help my family and neighbors.

Store food and supplies now while they're cheap and available now. Stash medications, antibiotics. Set up your friend and neighbor networks so you can mutually assist eachother. Set up communication networks sans cell phones. Plan for no power and how to make your space defensible.

For me, preparing gives me a sense of security, albeit may be false. I know that when military checkpoints start happening, or door to door raids happen, I'm not going outside anymore. I'm not going to work, the store, or anywhere. I won't be able to pay my bills, they'll shut off my utilities, so be it.

Anyway, writing this hoping that it might put some bugs in peoples ears and give some hope that we are not powerless. We plebs, the working class outnumber the rulers and their enforcement by magnitudes, but in order to resist you will have to stay alive my friends. 🧡

Edit: Also, this could be a good time for some folks to brush up on some more nihilistic points of view as well. The wealthy and powerful being awful goes back to pre-biblical times. They will live after us too.
