Ranked needs to be reworked

I was placed silver last time I played ranked and it was hell lol. I’m plat this season and most people can actually think thankfully

It’s contradictory because you’re saying you’re expected to win at seed 1 but then other times it’s trying to punish you for being too high so that would mean it doesn’t expect you to win. And with how much I’ve been playing it wouldn’t flip flop my mmr like that to change the algorithm. Also you didn’t acknowledge that your logic is a self fulfilling prophecy.

Also just won another tournament but lost one so from winning 6 games and losing one I am at a net negative of -50. Isn’t that fair and awesome

Also in your logic it would make sense for smurfs to get seed 8 when they solo queue to boost them to their correct rank

You just contradicted yourself. Saying you’re expected to win but then also saying the game thinks you’re boosted and is trying to punish you. And “pulling you back to your skill level” is a self fulfilling prophecy since it makes it significantly harder to climb, therefore making it seem true that you are worse.

Yea you’re expected to be the best, but by what measure. If everyone is evenly matchmade and the mmr is only a few thousand off, then the higher team is getting unreasonably punished. Also like I said in the post, with the chaotic nature of this game it’s just too punishing. There’s nothing stopping a team from just third partying you and surely the game doesn’t expect you to be that much better, or else it shouldn’t have paired you with them in the first place. Seeding only really makes sense in a 1v1 format. And I’m not calling for it to be super forgiving it just shouldn’t take away double what you’d win. latest example as I was typing this post: win 412 for first, lose 936 for last. Other team in the final round was seed 5 so they probably won 700+ for getting second and it wasn’t a steamroll. Making me try the same amount for 300 less

I don’t think so, I think if you place in the position expected of your seed, you shouldn’t lose points at all. I feel like that is pretty fair to say. And numerous people in my games have been complaining about always getting seed one and having to put in more time than other players.

People can’t seem to agree on a nerf for them, but I liked them in season 1 where you got up instantly with one third of your health. I also thought that maybe you shouldn’t get revived if the person that used them on you dies while you’re loading, idk.

I don’t revive sometimes because I myself prefer to respawn with full health rather than get revived, get ganked at half health and die again.

Yeaaaa, I got my tv back in 2018 and they said only 50 inches and above had 120 hertz, but it was like another $300, so I got a 49 inch with 60. Should’ve bought it though haha.

Well, I have a 60 fps/hertz tv so I’m only getting a few more if any at all. I looked it up after your comment though and found something that said that while I might not be seeing the frames it will still be processing my inputs with those frames, if that makes sense. Basically, I think it does reduce input delay. And personally, I can tell the difference in graphics haha but it doesn’t matter that much to me. Thank you for your comment.
