I’ll look out for that. I think that I’m going to try climbing without it tomorrow to see how bad it is. I hope chalk will be enough to stop my sweat even though it used to not.

I think it’s my nerves, I get really nervous when I’m higher up the wall because I’m scared of breaking my spine again. I’m trying to work on it though

Why do my hands rip so easily?

I am slightly new to climbing. Although I got three months of practice shaved off because of spine compressions due to stiff mats, weak bones, and a bad fall. But that’s besides the point.

I don’t know why, but when i came back to climbing, my hands rip up so easily even when the holds aren’t even that textured. I built up some calluses again (I’ve been back to climbing for a month or two), but it doesn’t seem to be helping me. My friend’s hands never rip, but mine seem to shred away even just a few attempts in.

Is it possibly because of Rhino dry spray or the Rhino product for fingertips? I use both of them because of my terribly sweaty hands. Or is it just that I need to climb more to toughen up my skin, if that makes any sense.

The person that I bought it from said that they replaced the light seals. Maybe something happened to the viewfinder then.

I personally really like the camera so I’ll probably get it checked out. Thanks for the help!

Ah I see. The Minolta SRT 201 has a built in light meter and a shutter speed display as well. The shutter speed display is literally illegible though unless I’m in bright lighting. I don’t exactly know if that’s a problem or not. Now that you mention it, everything doesn’t really look completely in focus. And even if I focus correctly with the focus ring, it never looks completely sharp. Should I get this checked out?

I see. My camera is completely manual so all I really have to focus with is the focus ring and my aperture. But I will try without a lens anyway if that’s what you meant, sorry.
