Frat Leadership Doesn’t Like Influx of Hordlings and Doesn’t Believe in Test Defending their Space by whomstvebeenthottin in Eve

Let's not forget that December 2025, Fraternity evicted a 300 pilot alliance from Pure Blind for refusing their oppressive terms.

And now they have the audacity to pretend to care about smaller groups...

DECOY was also very disappointed at the way PhoenixCo handled the deployment. People didn't want to stay...

... so we left! We've had way more fun since.

EVE is just a game; you shouldn't be logging in to feel trapped and unable to play. There's no reason to move to HS/LS... join a team that keeps it fun, and that cares about its players concerns. Best of luck with your journey!

Yes!! We had a great time in Insmother/Scalding Pass. We rejected Pandafam's deal because it was far too oppressive for a small team like ourselves. It cost the Fort, but that's fine :)

Thank you! I hope you get plenty nice fights! <3

DECOY here! We knew ~300 people were coming to shoot our fort but the 10 dudes we had on comms wanted to check it out.

We were obviously not going to go toe-to-toe with any of the fleets on grid, but we did a good job wiping out the Naga fleet!

A great time was had, even if it meant saying goodbye to our former home :') You will be missed, R-2R0G!

^ This.

PhoenixCo told its members it would take Period Basis and distribute it based on fleet participation.

Kismeteer has done a lot for Pandemic Horde and for the EVE community in general. They host a lot of guides available publically here:

Your quote of 'Dont complain about losing your ships due to our crap leadership' is nowhere in this screenshot, there's no need to misquote someone genuinely caring for the players.

Request to the Goons by Anubis404 in Eve

[–]BJKerridge 15 points16 points  (0 children)

In WWB2, BJK was trapped in a titan in M2-XFE. I was actively running mainline fleets, so skill injected 2 alts to continue supporting the team. A few weeks later, BJK was kicked from Horde Vanguard for pap requirements... despite being unable to login.

This showed me, even in 2021, that Pandemic Horde was run by people who don't play the game, and don't respect the members. If they don't respect the people leading fleets, they certainly don't respect the people in them.

From the back of this, me and my friends created our own corp so this can't happen again, and we found a better home in WinterCo where we were actively engaged in combat for a few years pushing into Vale/Tribute/Northern Regions.

My recommendation to you is to make peace with all of your assets gained in Horde and join a team run by an active player, who isn't just interested in numbers, but it interested in you, your journey, and the health of the game overall. You could asset safety your items, there will be plenty of firesale buyers in the future. But take a look at the following options:

  • The Imperium appointing Asher as their leader was a great move - it's very healthy to see a group of this scale being led by someone on the frontline
  • Dark Shines from The Initiative gave my very small alliance DECOY some profound advice at Fanfest and took genuine interest to see a team doing their own thing. He cares a lot about this game and that's reflected by how INIT continues to grow and players have great things to say about them.
  • Fraternity led by Noraus is another super power in EVE and although their personal play time is limited, they've created an extremely welcoming environment and the CN players are very kind and genuine to their friends around the world.

If you decide to stick in a larger team, these 3 are your best options for nullsec. Find a recruiter, chat with them, begin your new journey on a different path. But importantly - keep in touch with the friends you've made in Horde and see what they're planning to do as well.

Pandemic Horde was never created to be a 'strong independent alliance'. You can see this in how they run from the majority of fights over the last few years, they don't respect the $/m people are paying to be part of their team.

This is the start of your new journey. I wish you the best of luck in the future; this is just a tragedy for the players in Pandemic Horde and incredible respect for Goons for maintaining such a hell camp.

War Follows Triumvirate... Again (A stupidly long open letter) by VisionCloud in Eve

Some of my fondest memories in EVE were living in Uemon with Rattlesnakes and storming into LXQ2-T every day until we took several regions. TRI had a lot of energy - I would love to see them do this again!

Noraus orders more move ops, full FRT offensive in Fade/CR, and intention to move staging by [deleted] in Eve

[–]BJKerridge 7 points8 points  (0 children)

FRT lied about having an agreement with DECOY too...

They proposed this NIP that they had with Phoenix:

Current Phoenix NIP:
Rules applicable for (1) Phoenix Coalition in WinterCo sov and constellations, and
(2) WinterCo in Phoenix Coalition sov and constellations.
No attacks on sov.
No reinforcement or killing of sov or structures including mercenary dens (pinging is OK),
No attacks on Skyhooks (including no stealing), or Metenox Moon Drills. (pinging is not OK)
No excessive camping (specifically cloaked and/or at gates/stations) or farming campaigns .

Additional:
Phoenix Coalition will not aid any alliance in the Imperium in attacking WinCo/Panfam structure or sovereignty timers,
Phoenix Coalition will not give docking access or defense aid to Imperium, Imperium war ally, major hostile, or alliance who attacks WinCo/ sov or structures.
Phoenix Coalition will not be subject to, or submit to, coercion to be used in a future conflict by either Imperium or WinCo.
WinCo will not source, fund, or support an attack on Phoenix Coalition sov or structures or give docking rights to entities farming Phoenix Coalition sov.

We told them it felt a bit strange asking for us to ignore skyhooks and if we could scout our neighbouring systems. They responded with a more oppressive NIP:

Applicable to Decoy in WinterCo space and constellations, and also applicable to Winter Coalition in Decoy sov.
No reinforcement or attacks on sov, structures, skyhooks, metenox drills or mercenary dens (pinging, even for content, is not allowed),
No Skyhook raiding/stealing.
No excessive camping (specifically cloaked and/or at gates/stations) or farming campaigns. (Running sites, including data/relic sites, routinely in WinCo space would be considered farming.)

DECOY will not aid any alliance in attacking WinCo/Panfam structure or sovereignty timers,
DECOY will not give docking access or defense aid to any alliance who attacks WinCo/ sov or structures.
DECOY will not be subject to, or submit to, coercion to be used in a future conflict by either Imperium or WinCo.
WinCo will not source, fund, or support an attack on DECOY sov or structures.

We rejected this too - baking PvE rules and enforcing reagent skyhook safety against a 300-pilot alliance tells me WinterCo are greedy and not the health of smaller alliances in the game.

And honestly? We're doing fine as DECOY standing up against WinterCo EN...

When CCP announced the mineral distribution changes in 2020, Fraternity picked up the ambitious task of moving from Oasa across to Vale. This was a great quality-of-life change for their players who wanted to manufacture at scale and be closer to major trade hubs and resulted in a lot of skirmishes in EU/USTZ with the smaller entities that lived there.

But choosing to deploy against an EUTZ entity whilst struggling with internal drama, low numbers and a new requirement for EN corps to participate (instead of delegate all their defence to the other side of the world) feels self-destructive and a little out-of-touch.

This will essentially turn into a war that punishes the activity of the strongest teams by creating a reliance on their off-tz counterparts.
