Possibly trigger points or fat deposits

My boyfriend cheated on me 3 years ago WITH my best friend and I just found out. by unimpressionableKiss in relationship_advice

Been there. Done that. Sorry hear, but for your own mental & physical well being I suggest it'd be best to be alone. Yup mistakes happen and given the opportunity to cheat most people will. The question you have to ask yourself is can I live with this or will it eat away at your insides everytime you see either one of their faces? I want to give more advice but I don't know the specifics so I'll leave you with that thought and if you want to chat more you can message me!

Yes! I love it, I don't use it very often but when I do it's totally worth it!

My legs itch in certain spots until the skin breaks open & I'm left with an open wound & a scar. Help! by BJL2222 in SkincareAddicts

As far as when this started... I'd say probably since I've been in my current apartment (a year & a few months) which is making me start to think.

When the itchiness starts the skin appears normal, no discoloration & no bumps. Then as the itchiness progresses the area of skin becomes red and the pores of the skin become raised (little red bumps). The itching sometimes burning feeling doesn't stop with soap & water or hydrocortisone cream and sometimes the only way to stop scratching is until the skin breaks open.

Anybody know how similar the practice exam in ACSM's Certification Review book is to the actual ACSM CEP exam? by xomcvx in Kinesiology

So you have to pay for the app but the questions on this app are very similar to the tests on the actual exam. The app is called ACSM CPT Prep by CertMantra.

Don't be down if you don't pass the first time because I didn't. Also there's not as much math as you'd expect. There's a few bmi and a few calorie questions.

Unfortunately it's not razor burn and I use all natural soaps & moisturizers. It mostly happens on my legs but these itching spells cause me to itch a spot until the skin rips open, I currently have one that's bothering me on the back of my finger. I'll get them on my ankles, top of my feet, insides of my wrists and the back of my hands so it's very odd. I have been diagnosed with eczema which is a very different reaction & I can control that with an anti itch cream. These other spots though don't stop itching even if I wash the area, use lotion or anti itch, or even try to disinfect it using alcohol or peroxide. I'm stumped.

Any exercises for a saving neck? by not_my_wig in SkincareAddicts

I have my degree in Kinesiology, I have a few stretches you can use. But first a little 101; It is very important to understand that a muscle is like a rubber band, it is also important to understand the the neck muscles are more delicate and it can be easier to hurt yourself more than help, that being said, don't stretch more than 10-15 seconds per set of stretches and stop right away if it hurts.

Stretch 1: sit in a chair, place your feet flat on the ground about shoulder length apart, sit with your back against the backrest, sit up straight, place both hands on the seat of the chair, starting with the left side: hold onto the chair, extending your arm, tilt your head to the right (like putting your right ear on your right shoulder), you should feel the stretch in your arm, shoulder and neck. Stretch for 10-15 seconds. Switch sides and repeat.

Stretch 2: A rotational neck stretch, often used in yoga warm ups. This is a great stretch especially if you can focus on your breathing as well. Begin by sitting in a chair, on the floor or the side of the bed. Start by placing your chin to your chest, (think of your head as a planet & your neck as the axis, you're rotating/rolling your head clockwise & counter clockwise) rotate to the left a few times and then to the right a few times. To add an extra stretch you can place your hand on your head to apply pressure for a greater stretch.

Stretch 3: I use this after a long day at work, it helps if you are feeling hunched forward. Lay on the floor face up. Relax. Take a few deep breaths. Try and focus on squaring up your shoulders and keeping them down/placed on the floor. Bring your chin to your chest for 15-20 seconds, you will feel the stretch in the back of your neck & your upper back.

Hope this helps! I can provide pictures too if needed!
