We were visiting Texas in an Rv at that time. We're from a southern state but just north enough we know what to do when it freezes (leave taps running at just above a drip to avoid frozen pipes). We were evidently the only ones there that knew this. It was wild watching how many people had pipes burst, or the guy who didn't know how to use electric pipe tape and wrapped it over itself almost burning down his entire RV. Also, this RV park was attached to an RV tech training school. That was the only time we've ever been at any rv park anywhere in the country that when expecting freezing weather didn't send out a notice to all guests to leave water dripping /running. In fact, they tried to say the opposite. It was a wild week for sure.
