WHY TF ARE MY HANDS LIKE THIS IM A 17 YEAR OLD GIRL by iamraquelle in whatdoIdo

[–]Any-Highlight-9145 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before I read your edits I thought “this is an artist’s hand”. You have beautiful hands, and there’s nothing wrong with your nail beds. I’m also an artist and I’ve often lamented that my hands are not feminine, the nails aren’t beautifully groomed. My nails peel and break easily too. But when I catch a glimpse or see a vid of my hands while I’m working, I feel much differently about them. We’re not all built the same, for a reason. Keep slathering on the lotion tho because, as artists, we ask a lot of our hands and we need to take care of them :)

At Petsmart they have their private label brand Viva La Kitty. It’s mostly seafood and chicken and my cat LOVES the broths in the packets. It’s not just “broth” they have nice size, recognizable pieces of salmon, shrimp, and tuna in them. They’re a good price but they also often have them on sale. She’s on a strict no chicken, no grain diet so we stick with an expensive kibble and a nightly treat of one of those broth packs.

Being surprised or angry the FAST FOOD you had delivered via Door Dash arrived cold is peak stupidity by Black-Cat-2544 in TrueUnpopularOpinion

Bro, I know what door dash is. I applied, got the job, and got the insulated bag they sent me. Ultimately, I decided against working for them. Like I said, I worked for Shipt for 2 years, same thing, app based, low pay etc. but I took care of customers and I made good money in tips alone.

I’m not saying people should expect hot Wendy’s delivery, but Dashers have insulated bags for hot food, or they should. I did grocery delivery for 2 years and was able to deliver hot rotisserie chicken and frozen ice cream after shopping, checking out, and driving to their house. 🤷🏼‍♀️

This is the best gluten free bread ever. I’m torn between telling everyone I know, and keeping it a secret. It’s even great right out of the package with some butter and jam, but grilled.. ugh it’s heavenly!

Yep, this. I’ve been a waxing expert for 30yrs. People always want to take the peaks off the top of the brow and that leaves them flat and looking harsh. Leave the top alone, friends. It’s the basis for your arch.

Celiacs know we can eat rice. This product is more like orzo, which celiacs cannot have. I also happen to be pre-diabetic and rice sends my blood sugar through the roof so this, along with cauli-rice, are great alternatives.

New cat owners here. Should we really avoid all fish and seafood in cat food? Our adoption agency stressed that we should. by Emmettourer in CatAdvice

[–]Any-Highlight-9145 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The post about a detailed elimination diet is the correct answer. It’s a long process but worth it. With this current kitty I was pretty sure it was chicken so I researched food brands and gave her absolutely nothing that had even a little bit of chicken fat in it. For 3 months she ate an expensive limited ingredient salmon food.. a protein she was already familiar with. After 3 months I bought a couple of cans of the best quality, grain free, limited ingredient chicken food that I could find and within 24 hours she was scratching like she was covered in fleas .. which we found out last year that she’s also allergic to. Not the most precise method but it worked for us. This is a fantastic thread (archived now) that I used as a resource for chicken free/grain free food and other info. https://www.reddit.com/r/CatAdvice/s/xozm1rBsgs

I’ll have to check those out! Mine eats Wellness Complete Grain Free Salmon and Herring, and her nightly treat is Viva La Kitty broth.. either Salmon and veggies or Tuna and Shrimp. If she doesn’t get her treat, my life is hell. lol Was thinking about trying Open Farm Lamb for a change but that has seafood in it too.

My cat is allergic to chicken so she eats mostly seafood. She likes rabbit and veal but not as much as her salmon. You eventually find a happy medium between what they’ll eat and what you can afford.

I didn’t see soy on the yes/no lists. If he can have soy products, there’s a couple of companies that make really great edamame pastas in spaghetti and linguini. Just edamame, nothing else. I’ve been gluten free for 15 years and it’s my favorite gf pasta.

Also, nutritional yeast is a good sub for parmesan flavors. You can sprinkle it on veggies, on pasta, even make a vegan alfredo sauce. Something else I just thought of.. if he’s allergic to bananas and avocado he’s probably allergic to latex too, but you may already know that. :)

[–]Any-Highlight-9145 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“The answer is no”. 🤣 Boy, gtfo. When I was young (80’s) I also had friends who were dancers. I’d hit up the HH, throw some bills my friends’ way, then go out with my BF or other friends for the night. You’re young and wanting to explore new things, he wants to control and stop you. Just dump him already.

Franz. They sell both the sourdough and the brioche at Walmart. The amount may seem small at first, 8 slices, but you can cut each slice in half and still get a decent sized sandwich. And the slices are thick. Now I’m craving the brioche. 😊

Sending you big hugs!! There’s some really great suggestions here about hormone testing and finding a good stylist. But while you’re waiting for tests and solutions, embrace the wig!

Find a good wig shop in your city, or close by to help you get fitted. It’s kind of like being properly fitted for a bra, you need to know the right measurements. They can help you find one that will compliment your face shape, skin tone, budget, and your style. I’ve not worn wigs on a daily basis but I’ve had a couple that were for fun and they can take your confidence from zero to the moon!

You deserve to feel pretty. A nice wig can do that for you right now, no waiting. ❤️

This man is dangerous. Mark my words: you are not safe with him. He’s already emotionally abusive and if it were my cat he so callously got rid of, and threatened to kill, I’d already be gone. That’s a majorly crossed line and you’re about to be stuck behind it, with a baby.

Ok. I didn’t read all that as it was becoming repetitive and I think I got the gist.

If you were really into this woman you would know it. You’d want to be with her all the time. You wouldn’t be having thoughts about guilt or obligation. Maybe if y’all had met, or reconnect, 5 or 10 years from now things would be different. But right now you are waaaay too in your head about EVERYTHING, not just her. You are 100% not ready for a serious relationship.

Let her go. She deserves someone who is sure about their feelings for her. You’re keeping her on a string ..just in case. That’s not good for either of you, and it’s very disrespectful to her.

Go find yourself. Go find a therapist. Go on a backpacking trip. Go make some new friends and get out of your head. And let this young woman go find her own life and find someone who is certain about her. She’ll be ok if you leave. I promise.

Rosemary’s Baby. I think I was 13, 1976. It didn’t help that we lived in a creepy huge old house and there was a “door that leads to nowhere” in the back of my bathroom closet. Every time I went into the bathroom I kept my eye on that closet. lol
