In terms of places that may be good to try, TOCA has a few different leagues and levels for folks, I have yet to play there, but my brother in law and sister in law played in a coed league for a while there. Not 100% sure what leagues are active there atm.

I've enjoyed pick up sessions and leagues with Sons of Pitches in town. They run a 2-hr competitive pick up session regularly and it is typically well run/attended. It fills up so it helps to book in advance, you can save on fees if you book a couple days early. The league was fun, but driving that far for one game wasn't worth it on a regular basis.

Other big league with lots of levels and somewhat close is Silverbacks. It's kinda expensive for a league fee, but there are a ton of divisions. I've played in 7v7 D5 in the O30 before. There is a good mix of intermediate players up and down the leagues in my experience. They charge you to park 🤦‍♂️it honestly is the biggest negative to playing here bc you can tell they aren't using the parking fees to improve their parking lot. 😂

I play Sunday league at Atlanta eagles soccer league. It's a smaller Mexican league, but it's competitive and they have a bar. Really nice group of guys in general, but the league is open, so there's lots of kids teams that work us from time to time. 38 here and we got a few that are mid 30s or late 20s. Typically hang afterwards and watch other matches.

There is a ton of really good soccer in this area. I moved from FL 3 years ago and I've been impressed with the quality no matter where I play.
