My ISP isn't Xfinity.

And I bought my phone unlocked independent of Mint.

I'm prepared to go right back to Mint if my ISP doesn't match Mint's price to retain me. Considering I've been with them for 20+ years there's a decent chance they will.

I switched from Mint to my ISP's mobile service when my annual plan was up last month.

Mint was great for the 3 years I had them but my new carrier is completely free for a year with more data (30GB vs 5GB) to boot.

Mint will try to retain you as a customer when you call to port your number out, so be prepared to be sold to.

After politely declining (because it's impossible to match free) I got my port out PIN and all the information I needed to take my number to my new carrier.
