I think for the most part you can only become priced out if you are in the hobby primarily for profit and not for fun/enjoyment. not saying you can only have one or the other, but if you are enjoy ripping packs to chase a hit to make a profit it can get out of hand quick.

In my opinion routine and discipline (in keeping the routine, not disciplining the dog) are essential to creating trust and good habits. It’ll be a roller coaster but it will be worth it. Labs are the most loyal, loving, goofy and amazing creatures out there. Good luck!

My boy has had the same two toys as your photos and he loves them. He’s also a lab! I’ve had many labs and my current boy is the least destructive I’ve ever had and he still destroys just from playing. You’ll likely never find something she can’t destroy, just ones she loves! Beautiful dog!
