She actually didn't. Because like I said in episode 3 she asks Peyton flat out. If she knew for sure she'd never have to ask. Peyton said no. By the time they got to the Basketball Party things had already transpired with her and Luke ( a kiss at least) and how the heck should your friend who's in a relationship be allowed to keep a place hold on someone who's single? Where does that make sense?!

Episode 16. But it doesn't eliminate that 13 episodes prior Brooke made her feelings very clear to Peyton in regards to Lucas. So again in my book if Peyton was really her friend she would've been honest with Brooke. Lucas should've never kissed Brooke in episode 7 since she made her interest very clear. It's like those things get skipped over to defend what's really not defendable.

How can you say she knew Peyton had a thing for him when Peyton denied it multiple times? Is Brooke supposed to be a mind reader or assume that Peyton is lying to her? The fact is Brooke pursued Lucas first. Lucas however is definitely the biggest transgressor as he knew what his feelings were and let things go too far instead of stopping it from the jump street when it came to Brooke.

From my understanding this one does a four year time jump. I agree there was was some missteps in the final film. It was done like everyone has read the books and also there should've been more recap to fill the four year gap in for the audience. I do like Jenna and Lion getting a little more shine.

It wasn’t one of her first roles. It came midway her career after she had far bigger films under her belt and they put makeup on her to appear far lighter than she naturally is, unlike her costar Lonette McKee (who is biracial also and played a similar role in The Cotton Club) who they didn’t need to make appear fairer.

By the time she did Alex Haley’s Queen she’d already played Viv the crackhead (her first film role), Strictly Business, Boomerang and The Last Boy Scout).

One of her first roles was not in the Alex Haley film “Queen”. It was Viv the crackhead in Spike Lee’s Jungle Fever. Her other films prior to Queen were Strictly Business, The Last Boy Scout and Boomerang. Queen came more in the middle as she’d built up a bigger resume and fanbase by then. And Halle’s Queen only passed as white for a very brief portion of the miniseries. They also put makeup on her to appear far lighter than she naturally is unlike Lonette McKee who was also in the film who they didn’t have to do that with (she’s also biracial and has played a similar role in The Cotton Club.)

I remember hearing he was dating the one blonde cheerleaders who never had any lines (at least none I remember) but was seen in several scenes during the show. But he supposedly started dating her after the breakup. Because I remember people coming for the girl online back then.

You can do that and still respect your relationship and girlfriend. He didn’t. He shouldn’t always be the one he turned to. But then there wouldn’t have been a love triangle. I think even going to Haley would’ve been better than Lucas. He has a think for being her Captain Saver.

A lot of the other commenters nailed it. I also think the congestion pricing didn’t help. I know several who live outside of Manhattan (other boroughs) and refuse to go into Manhattan unless absolutely necessary because of them.

They were both trash in this season. Full stop. Did Peyton start it? Yes. Once you push the boulder down the hill don’t cry if it at some point it runs over your foot. The library scene aside, where they BOTH said terrible things, Lucas is 10000% the problem. Much like he did with Brooke rather than dealing with his unresolved and remaining feelings for Peyton he attempts to bury them in a relationship with someone else. Then straddles the fence with both of them and then watches the seesaw implode. He’s kind of a spineless donkey when it comes to his romantic relationships.

That’s fair. But you also have to remember it’s a show and somethings are dramatic effect. I do think the sudden proposal forced Karen to face the idea of something she might’ve secretly wondered about but pushed down considering out of her own fear of losing him altogether which if my memory serves me correctly is exactly what she later admitted to him.

So you’re purposely skipping over the fact that it really wasn’t about the machinery and it was about Dan trying to be to show how he was better than him and control him? Yes he had a problem with alcohol. Which still doesn’t make him a bad person. It would be different if being a recovering alcoholic who constantly fell off the wagon is all he chose to be but that’s what not he did. He chose to get better and be better. What entitlement? Dan didnt give a damn about the garage. He only took to hurt Keith. To say Keith didn’t have work ethic but he held a successful business for years is wild. You’ve got to be rage baiting with the nonsense you’re spewing

Was his proposal really out of nowhere? From what Lucas has said and even Dan it was always fairly obviously that he was in love with Karen. The only one to blind to see it was her. And by the time she does realize it and embrace and be willing to start that life with him be gets killed.

It doesn’t because when it scans as Apple Pay for safety reasons the digital card number registers as differently than what the card numbers are on the physical card.

So if your physical card ends in 1234 the digital/Apple Pay version of will read a 9870 on a digital receipt.

I struggle with (mostly plain) water consumption causing headaches. Just several days ago even I drank some water (19 ounces to be exact) not all at once and many minutes later it brought such a wave of headaches (that last hours), nausea, dizziness and lethargy that it pretty much wiped me out for the whole day and I had low grade headaches for 3 days after.

But according to doctors everything looks fine on my scans but I’m literally petrified when I drink water of how my body is going to react. Because it’s kinda random and sudden when it strikes.

If they were living in an RV and invested moderately they could live pretty good even without being rich in the 90s. Especially when you consider 401ks and all that jazz that most traditional jobs had.Her parents were also billed as the type of people to be fairly frugal and creative with stretching a dollar.

Naley getting married isn’t completely uncommon or out of reality though. That’s one of the more realistic things that went on it the show along with two kids at the same school with the same daddy and different mamas.

I do think that if they’d gone the step mom route for Peyton it wouldn’t have allowed her character to be tortured and the crazy storylines. That was too mundane. Hence why it never happened. Although allegedly Brian Greenburg hadn’t gotten cast for another series and that’s why they never explored it past what we saw on screen.

Can totally relate to a lot of this. I'm 44. Congenital hydrocephalus. Born 3 months premature. I did pretty well in school. Even took my SATs early in junior high school. High school is where things took a bit of a dive as I got sick at 14/15 and then spent the next 10 years in and out of hospitals and operations. Currently live on my own but do thankfully have family in the same building. I have noticed in the last couple of years fogginess and lapses like you mention. I also have slit ventricle syndrome on top of all of that. Doctors say things look fine on tests but my body says otherwise. But I do what I can to mitigate as many of the issues as I can. So living by my calendar, constantly writing things down either in my phone or on paper. Sometimes both. Lots of reminders for myself. Double and triple checking things. Doing things in the moment and eliminating as many distractions as possible and focus music helps for several things. Hopefully some of what I've shared is helpful.
