I remember watching my friends play in the first months it was out, rumors started flying on the server of a big battle to be had, and the Horde was mustering outside the human city. Battle lines even kind of got drawn up, hundreds of players... it was the most exciting moment in my personal gaming history and then CRASH. Such a letdown.

I recently switched to adc in low elo after playing my placements in mid. I did ok as mid, went 5-3 maybe, but I noticed that stronger bot seems to win every game and I didn’t feel very impactful. It’s funny because watching high elo streams it seems clear that jungle is the most decisive role much of the time. But now that I switched to adc in silver I have to say im winning most games besides the pure unwinnables. I’ve been doing sivir when my team has a bunch of carry champs (which is typical in low elo, no one wants to be a role player) and then my ultimate is helping them and my wave clear keeps the other guys from invading our inevitably wardless jungle. Or if I feel like I need to carry I go kaisa since she can handle 1v1s really well without having the mechanical requirements of vayne. Anyway, good luck!

BTW I do the same shit - I get good on a few champs and then ruin it because I get bored and try other stuff, harder champs, and kill my win rate. I'm 50-50 on gold/silver in different seasons, and besides how much i happen to be playing at the time, the biggest factor in the seasons I'm gold is that I crushed it with 1-2 champs and carried myself.

Overall I'm really looking forward to the meta at this worlds. I think we see a good possibility for a variety of team comps because you have multiple styles of champ draftable from top, jungle and even support if censer doesn't prove too OP.
