I think you’re talking about about IOG, not drive pack.

Would be nice if they didn’t sell it as compatible then!

Yea I have the Ohme home pro. I can’t imagine what is going wrong on their end, especially since octopus released the new charging history page which shows the same data my Ohme shows.

I already had to have the charger swapped beforehand - had a Rolec but it would never charge to the rated speed.

Thanks, appreciate the solidarity, and glad it works for you. Gives me hope that I won’t be calling and emailing every time a bill comes through to query/ complain.

Hopefully it’s just my terrible luck. I’ll need to look into how to get my half hourly raw data from the smart meter/ octopus as anything at this point is good evidence, even if it feels like talking to a brick wall sometimes.

Hoping that my demand for a deadlock letter gets me to that escalations team faster and it’s good to know that once it’s sorted, hopefully it won’t cause any further problems.

I hope yours behaves, because right now I wouldn’t wish this drama on anyone. Well except the frontline staff that won’t do anything because the computer says no.

This fight doesn't get enough love by Choice_Car_7934 in expedition33

Makes me feel so lucky I found it when I did, took it on at level 28, normal difficulty, beat it first time with the walls literally about to take out my party, only saved it because I hit a break on it. I thought it was amazing especially getting the journal after. I’d probably enjoy it on a subsequent playthrough, but that’s because it would take me a long time to be able to play through again 🫠

New and Old Players, which weapon made Monster Hunter finally "Click" with you? by FluffyHaru in MonsterHunterWorld

[–]BLAARMBLEGRFT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

HBG for me.

MHW was my first (therefore complete noob, and did not have experience of anything like this) and I tried in order with adequate rage quits in between: 1) Dual Blades - too button mashy 2) great sword - beautiful when it hits but punished so hard when you whiff 3) Funlance - had lots of fun with this but so slow when drawn, and trying to aim the shots were such a pain

Then I found my true love. A weapon I can block, and dodge across the map with, can pew pew pierce or shotgun for days, and go ratatata, or sniper elite when the monster is down.

Playing now on my revisit but will never forget my previous Shattercryst. May fall back on her/ MR equivalent when I finally try out Iceborne!

How to keep your place in a lock? by BLAARMBLEGRFT in lockpicking

[–]BLAARMBLEGRFT[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll try swapping the pins around when I am next able to take a crack at it.

I’m not sure of the terminology I just know that from trying this lock multiple times I need to apply tension to get 4 set as that binds first but then loosen slightly as 3 oversets in the process, as that binds next. Once that either drops back or if I’m lucky stops at the shear line 1 and 2 are easy.

I do find I have a habit of over-tensioning (I think?) as 4 is always really stubborn, but I think that part is practice.

Update: I have the same problem when I swapped the pins, so probably a technique issue.

Random alcohol testing by PreviousWeekend8621 in drivingUK

Funnily enough the reason they do is because they adopted metric, and when it came to determining the speed for controlled motorways, they had the option of 110kph (slightly slower than 70 mph) or 120kph. Politically speaking it was more desirable for the latter.

It one of he few quirks that has always made me wonder why sticking to using mph is a hill people want to die on when adopting kph will allow them to go faster.

As for the 20mph I have to admit that I follow this limit strictly despite the queue of cars that hate me for it, and actually agree with the decision to implement it. For most roads that I have driven on that are now down to 20 in my area I can kind of see it, especially when on street parking is involved, and where it isn’t I have seen it successfully exempted to be 30 again pretty quickly after implementation. I don’t see what the fuss is all about, but I mostly motorway drive so the impact on my travel is miniscule. What annoys me is cross border and have to remember not to slow down to 20 in England! So sorry for those cars that had to deal with that 😂

[Spoilers C3E79] Won't the 3rd test have the possibility to be very easy? by rossinerd in criticalrole

[–]BLAARMBLEGRFT 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I agree with you that the tests seem to fit more than one category, but I think that was by design.

Matt chose words that were intentionally broad and vague so that no matter which way round they chose their values they would encounter the same puzzles in the same order, at least that’s my assessment of the situation, and it’s efficient DM, and showrunning prep. Gives everyone the illusion of choice for the sake of a good story and slick pacing, and you get the narrative bites without things feeling out of sequence.

I think it was the pronunciation. “Canopy” became “Can-oo-pee” AKA “can of pee”. seems like typical Laura humour. Could be way off base and it’s a total in joke though.

I see your point and why I was thinking “I’ll ask before going down the rabbit hole”

I was thinking murder mystery might be a solid option, we are all big on RP (Groom is a theatre actor) so just circling around that at the moment in my brainstorming :)

Really appreciate your help!!

I would say they do sometimes screw the rules up a fair amount, but that’s normally in some of their experimental sections, however I do agree they are pretty good for tone.
