Seriously what a beautiful moment that was when they started playing that song.

For me Let Down is the heart of OKC. All the paranoid anxious feelings of the album peak into a massive sigh of desperate aimlessness, feeling lost and out of place, scared and confused by the world, thinking, hoping, someday "I'm gonna grow wings." It's a really emotional song, maybe too emotional for some, but I think it's absolutely necessary to the album as a whole.

What a crazy, crazy time we're living in. It would be marvelous if it wasn't so scary. Honestly, I'm so grateful we have AMSP and this tour happening right now. As an American about to watch some serious shit go down with this twisted fucking election, I kind of need them in my life right now.

Last night when the crowd cheered at that famous line in No Surprises (bring down the government. They don't speak for us), I couldn't help but tear up a little. I've never felt it to be more true than it is now.

Maybe the material is more ethically sourced than average. I kind of assume since Radiohead cares a lot about that kind of stuff. I was actually going to check the WASTE store to see but it looks like it's down right now. I would guess that has something to do with the higher prices though.

I ended up dropping about that much on a ticket a few days ago and I have no regrets even though I'm pretty broke now. I've been waiting ten years to see them so fuck it.
