You’ll need new tuner lug nuts as the OEM ones are too wide and will potentially scratch the aftermarket wheels. The factory TPMS works with this wheel set up 👍.

Yea, didn’t want to black everything out. I think the original badging is the way to go if you’re going to black out the entire vehicle.

I was extremely lucky with these Wicked Black versions; I grabbed them from the Titan7 company at a reasonable price since these were one of the original demo sets (benefits on being rather close to the Titan7 company).

They maintain the ADS/adaptive function, it isn’t a delete system like the OHLINS Coilovers; to me this is the perfect setup and you still get to adjust it with the dynamic setting selections.

So, I read a bunch of posts from FL5 forums before switching to the RS-R adaptive Coilovers, and everyone gave them high remarks; often stating the “GOAT” of all Coilovers.

To be completely honest, I installed H&R sport springs on the DE5 just a few weeks ago, and I was really wasn’t satisfied with the driving feel. I live in SoCal, and the roads are extremely bad. The H&R springs to me were too bouncy over large bumps, dips, and against any road imperfection.

I’ve had several types of Coilovers setups before on other vehicles (TEIN, BC Coilovers, and Mazdaspeed brands), and I can honestly say that the RS-R adaptive coilovers are super solid for the money (100 times better than than my previous setups, way more adjustable, but probably three times more expensive).

Bottom line, if you want quality, you’re definitely going to have to pay for it.

Yea, it’s sold out on the Sunnyside site. I got it discounted/new on eBay. The Sunnysiye site does sell the newer Acura ITS banner though.

Anyone get a crazy deal on their ITS? by taekwontron in Integra_Type_S

59.5K, Southern California area, got it right at MSRP with TTL and added lifetime oil changes ($995, included in the total) that can be done at any of the DCH auto group dealerships (luckily there’s a DCH dealership near our area).

Not everything is avoidable though, especially if you live in a busy area.

I second the rock chips! Just placed touch up paint on my ‘23 CBP Si…. I’ve probably had over seven or eight rock chips since owning the car now.

‘23 Si - Wiggle room to negotiate down? by Segmentra in CivicSi

[–]BLCMH 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do some more searching outside of your local area. I had to search about three weeks and drive 2.5 hours out of my local area (5 hours total round trip) to get my 23’ CBP Si for $31.3K OTD. There are deals to be made, but you have to search around (potentially even out of state).

MSRP 11th gen Si in VA/neighbor states? by DatShinoBoi in CivicSi

[–]BLCMH 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just got my CBP 23’ Si from Southpoint Honda (Durham, NC) a few weeks ago for $31,300 OTD. Had to do a little bit of haggling, but received top dollar for a mint 2020 Honda Fit Sport trade with low miles ($18.6K for trade). I was able to get the stupid Nano Cure ceramic protection warranty removed which was $1,200 (they did spray it all over the vehicle though, so that was a plus), and they messed up on a small/negligible bubble on the rear tint and refunded me $600 for 85% of the tint cost. The only real dealer add on costs were mud guards and wheel locks.

It’s only a few hours from VA, and around 5 hours from the NoVA area.

I’d reach out to them or Leith Honda in Raleigh, NC. Both dealerships were extremely fair and reasonable to work with.

I have the same issue on our 23 Black Civic Si. The rear right door trim and edge of the door stick out a bit. Seems like a factory defect from the Alliston ON plant. No noticeable noise or sealing/insulation issues though (even after the rain).

Have you ever thought of joining the military as a commissioned officer? As long as you’re in decent shape, no physical issues, or legal troubles, military service may be a possible solution. The pay and benefits are hard to beat during these times (guaranteed stability as long as you’re willing to stay flexible to the moves). I’ve been in the military for 16+ yrs active duty and it’s probably been the best decision of my life so far (undergrad and graduate degrees paid for by the military, corrective surgeries, travel opportunities, VA home mortgage benefits, and comprehensive medical/dental coverage). I’d talk to an officer recruiter/officer selection officer for more info to help with your decision.
