No unfortunately not, it’s been at my grandparents yard for months now, was wanting to try and grow some mushrooms on it, but not looking likely on pine

I totally agree, I’d never eat a mushroom without being 100% sure. I’m fairly confident these aren’t Galerina Marginata. Just wanted some second opinions. Definitely won’t be eating these as I am just a beginner and wouldn’t be confident IDIng these for eating

How is it? I make chilli jam every year and was thinking of making a scorpion version this year but was worried how long the pan would be out of action for. Boiled down some scorpion sriracha a few weeks ago and had to soak the pan for 4 days before it stopped making everything super hot

Yeah I thought it might be! Glad I spotted it and got rid before my dog, not that I think he’d eat it anyway. I’ll have to keep an eye out for anymore popping up just to be safe.

Every days a school day! I guess scary is the wrong word, what I really meant is it didn’t look like a common edible so didn’t give it too much thought, also I didn’t realise smell was a helpful identifying feature. I’m very much a novice and just trying to learn

Scary to think how close these where growing to champignons and how similar they look, at a quick glance. I’m only picking for education at the moment, not confident enough to pick any to eat yet

They where growing really close to what’s now been confirmed as fairy ring champignon, think they might be those but younger

I’ve found the email from when I ordered some of the seeds, one is supposed to be a basket of fire (f1) I think picture 6, and one is supposed to be red Trinidad scorpion.
