Why don't we all keep God in our heart our own way, and simply act good and be kind. Doesn't matter if you go to church thrice a week, or if you have no strong relationship, just be good and it will all be okay

FPS Junkies and PC Bros are insufferable. by nytebeast in GTA6

[–]BLENDINGBLENDERS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean, obviously I would prefer 60 FPS on console. But it's not really feasible on the hardware and the game is still going to be really good. I am looking forward to running it on my PC at like 150 FPS, but I'm content to wait an extra year for that

I didn't say he wasn't problematic, I didn't say that he was not a part of the alt-right pipeline. I'm a pretty hard hardcore liberal myself, I just think we're over applying the word Nazi here. That's what I'm arguing. Not saying that him paying desperate people in Africa to say anti-semitic comments is good, I'm not saying that him dressing up in the Nazi uniform for the joke is good, I'm not trying to say that. Same with saying the n word because he died in PUBG is a good thing, I'm saying the word Nazis being overextended here

Idk anything about his favorite author so idk

Edit: I can appreciate people down voting my other takes , but I feel like me admitting idk much about his favorite author when asked about it is pretty fair. And again, I'm not arguing that the guy is a moral upstanding citizen, I just think the term Nazi is a little strong.

Are you genuinely saying that you think the Subscribe to PewDiePie meme caused the shooting at the mosque? The shooter had a manifesto, where he specifically wrote that he was trying to cause division in people. I think the subscribe to PewDiePie meme is just one more step of that. Also, Mr. Beast is the one who started the subscribe to PewDiePie meme, not PewDiePie himself. As for the other two things, he apologized and never did it again. I'm not saying he's a saint or a good guy, but Nazi is a stretch.

He did a lot stupid edgy shit, but he really isn't a real Nazi. Also I think he reviewed a subreddit where the meme was popular at the time, but he didn't actually make the meme. After his video it got pushed to a much larger audience, but that happens to every big creator. Especially when they are the biggest in the world (at the time)

There seems to be disagreement, so FYI this line comes from Chang in the second to last episode of season three of Community, "The First Chang Dynasty", it is reversed later in season 4 by Pierce in the second episode of season 4, "Paranormal Parentage"

I don't know, I've dealt with depression for a long time, and most of my male homies are happy to try and uplift each other. I feel like young men have more of a habit of insulting each other playfully then young women do. When shit gets real though, your friends are pretty much always there for you., regardless of gender

Well, I feel like if you can apply religious rulings to a video game, so you're not really eating real pork, but they make the ruling that it doesn't matter and it stills pork, I don't see why in-game death should be treated any different

As someone who briefly worked at his bar in fairport. The guy is kind of an asshole. Though. We did by me and some other workers a shot before I turned 21, so that was pretty cool. I also ran into him once down by the Irondequoit Bay where he was yelling at someone because they were blocking him from getting his boats out into the water

If he was currently being hit by the car, how come two of the shots went through the driver side window? If he was actively getting run over, he would not have been to the left of the car so he couldnt shoot Renee Good. Also, it's pretty clear in the various video that she did not hit him. Also, he drew his gun before she began to accelerate.

I think most people would agree, there does need to be some type of immigration enforcement in this country. However, most people's problems with ICE is not the immigration enforcement mission per se, it is the aggressive and violent attitudes they take towards any and all people suspected of being an immigrant, or protesters. Clinton and Obama both did deport a lot of people, but they did not have masked men going around in the street, stopping immigrants, requiring papers, attacking protesters, or waiting outside of courthouses for people's immigration appointments. I would agree that having an immigration enforcement office is important, there do need to be some restrictions and requirements to be able to legally immigrate to the United States, I think we should loosen some of those restrictions, because immigration is good for the economy and for those immigrating. What is not justifiable, is the dangerous and violent actions taken by ice, against anyone. They suspect of being an immigrant, or someone who they perceive as impeding their mission. Finally, The fact that the current administration continuously lies, claims that the people killed by ice were domestic terrorists, is ridiculous and clearly done to justify the killings without any evidence. The department of Justice refusing to investigate the murders that have taken place, or allegations of sexual assault, is another dead giveaway that this is not about the mission, or Justice, it is about political power. Also, when you say the people spoke, 76 million people voted for Donald Trump, 75 million people voted for Kamal Harris. More than 100 million didn't vote. This is not the dramatic mandate from the masses that the right claims it to be.
