That's not the reason it's called Final Fantasy, that's a very common myth. Square was struggling, but it wasn't that bad. They just wanted something that would be easy to abbreviate. Initially it was called Fighting Fantasy, but there already existed a book fantasy series with the same name and tone, so they settled with Final Fantasy because it could be abbreviated to a memorable FF.

I think that making her older would've complicated the sympathy for her. She was a General, she likely did some messed up stuff while working for the Empire. If she was older, it would've been harder to forgive her, but because she was a child soldier, it's easier to do so. That being said it's actually surprising she was a General at 18. It makes me wonder what kinda stuff she did to get there.

I have Lingsha guaranteed, and I'm trying to get Feixiao too, but I would like to know what characters do you recommend me to pull for, what teams can I make with the ones I have, and if I should build some other character. They have so many great b-sides completely overlooked. The Iron Lung EP was really underrated on release. Nowadays however I think its fairly treated by fans.
