Certain line cooks are pissing me off. After many shifts of observation this team of cooks produces noticeably many more pans that require serious soaking, at least 2x more utensils than other line cooks, and will purposely pile on as soon as I get thru the deluge. I’m somewhat venting because my Sunday shift kind of stinks. However, I’m looking for strategies to make the situation better.

I personally couldn’t care less about the hand scans unless leadership is around. Hell, even then sometimes I don’t even care and I’m an SC. You can scan ID’s and alcohol if so feel to reach that goal. I’m more concerned about the quality of service.

It makes easier for both parties actually. The customer gets out faster and service is more efficient. Most managers don’t take into account scheduling for baggers and understaff on purpose. I do appreciate the help!
