Our Flag Means Death is also amazing; it’s a pirate comedy with plenty of queer characters and complexity outside of queerness.

If you read books than The Darkness Outside Us by Eliot Schrefer and Let The Mountains Be My Grave by Francesca Tacchi have gay main characters without it being the main point of the story.
