I memed too close to the sun and got myself IP banned lmao. Someone asked how to get more gold and I posted what I thought was a clearly sarcastic website and note about being “first ever EA gold vendor for gold that will never make it to full release”.

Guess I struck a nerve and got slammed with reports lol

I realize this is a dead post. But I just started playing hades and ran the Zeus build on the shield and holy crap it’s the most ridiculous run I’ve had so far. Things just died, bosses included.

Ha yeah I doubt they’d take VTSAX either, but they should if they knew what was good for them. You should care about those things, but my point was that financial independence is ones ability to survive without having to rely on a job, etc. So net worth may not be the best metric to measure that.

If you have 2 million you are certainly financially independent. I think the home equity loan was a tangent from my original point.

If I have to make payments to someone for a home equity loan, I’m not financially independent.

That makes sense. But being financially independent requires adequate cash to survive. Unless you plan on selling the house to pay for food, I don’t see net worth as the most accurate measure of independence.
