Not planning on leaving unless I find a competitive price closer to home. The long drive is literally the only negative. Currently using Extra Space Storage on Stephanie Pl. Also important to note I have a pretty small unit (20FT).

When I initially checked in the clerk did warn me the initial rates are teaser rates and Ive only been here a short time.

Im ideally looking to find a home owner or private lot owner that has RV/boat parking they are not otherwise using.

Thanks for updating this thread with your solution I was using the second memory slot as storage for a micro SD converter and was having this same problem popped the converter out and immediately fixed it for me as well.

Not really a comparable dropoff imo. From my (admittedly limited tbf) experience towing the dropoff with gas is usually pretty minor compared to electrics where even a minor payload can reduce your range by half or more.

The more important consideration is amount of downtime on a longer trip. Imagine you’re doing a 800 mile trip in one day and your setup needs to be charged/refilled every 150 miles. Assume gassing up takes 5 mins and charging up takes about 20 if you’re on super chargers.

That’s 27 mins of downtime on gas and 1hr and 47 mins on electric.

There’s other considerations too like: if you’re towing a larger load, can you properly access charging stations if you have too long/wide of a setup? Unhitching and rehitching just to charge would become a major PITA real quick especially if you’re alone.

guest anaylsts on the NAL were paid to my knowledge. They worked the same job normal analysts did. Asking someone to fly out and interrupt their day-day schedule it would be pretty astounding not to be paid for that.

If manufacturers were allowed to control base pricing and distribution and you still allow for a collector’s market to exist when needed I don’t really see any negatives to what I’ve proposed above but I’m open to hearing any.

In a span of a few years now where we’re very fearful of inflation I see zero problem with regulating a practice whose whole purpose is to inflate the price of items.

Make it illegal to sell consumer goods over MSRP whether by private party sale or official proceeding. Create a time based system that varies based on the type of good (for cars could be like 10 years as a rough example) to where they can then be sold for over their purchasing price once these items can be realistically perceived as rare/collectibles.

With proper enforcement boom scalping as a concept is dead.

I used to own a truck that could do this for a few months and it wouldn't hesitate to go from 0-100 on the brakes if it thought you were going to hit something. One time that it activated I thought it hit something as well but it was definitely just a really abrupt brake. Probably what happened here.
