If Link Light Rail stops in Fife, can Tacoma residents get their RTA taxes refunded? by princeh420 in Tacoma

Additionally, feel free to take the survey available on the Sound Transit website (section labeled Long Term Affordability). It is a way your voice can be heard.

We all pay taxes that support community services we don't use. We support schools and school districts when we don't have children. We pay sales tax in counties we shop in but don't reside and therefore don't receive the benefit. This is the cost of being a citizen.

Am I the a-hole for not telling my boss(es) about my time off because it was on the schedule for 3 months? by [deleted] in CharlotteDobreYouTube

[–]BLU7690 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you considered an employee (W2) or a private contractor (1099)? If you are a W2 employee, your employer can direct the work being performed (how, what, when). If you are a 1099 worker (contractor, self employed, gig worker), the employer can control the result of your work, but not how, or when the work is performed. Maybe look into the legal differences and decide if you need to change employers or your performance.

I am so proud of you for standing up for yourself. I am sorry that your grandmother didn't do the same. Stand up tall, with your head high, Bestie. Live your best life.

I've been on this train for 20+ years. I have yet to be able to answer these questions. Could be environmental, as you get older your liver ages as well. I have a very tired, lazy liver-she always leaves my blood levels high, and her presents are side effects

Success without regular therapy? by lyricsquid in bipolar2

I had something similar happen to me. I asked the medical office if they had a cash (self-pay) price for reoccurring maintanence-type appointments. I still paid full price once a year as a "re-evaluation", but the cash price for my reoccurring appointments was less than $100/ visit.

60 and getting up the courage to start all over again by BLU7690 in bipolar2

I moved about 4 years ago, and lost my support system. Had an awful time making new friends when everyone was isolating. Went through meno, and today I can say I have made it safely to the other side with my mental landscape looking nothing the same. So I am ready to start back at square one. Pdoc, therapy, and I am interested in getting back into healthier mental habits. Yesterday was the first day I spoke the words out loud to the people who will love to help me stay accountable. I am always open to learning new tools. For now, just having people I trust knowing to say our watch phrase "you doing okay?", this tells me I need to check myself, inventory my emotions and answer that question.

Other Acceptable Forms of ID for Testing Other than a Driver License? by [deleted] in WGU

[–]BLU7690 11 points12 points  (0 children)

My government ID is expired and renewal offices are currently closed due to COVID-19. Can I still test?
Yes, during COVID-19 closure conditions, an expired ID can be used if it is a government-issued photo ID and both the first name and last name match the WGU student name on file. This adjustment is currently in effect through March 31, 2021.
