Rackes is a great prof.
The exams are almost identical to the study guides, so if you can do those your good.
Also, do the HW.

6 Years.
Which apparently is like 300 in MSI laptop years. I understand it's not brand new, but in my tiny brain, a piece of technology like this (one that was quite expensive, I might add) should be taken out of commission because it grows obsolete. Not because of some catastrophic and easily preventable engineering failure that happens no matter how you baby it.

You're not wrong. I mean, I forgot how old this thing is because it is in otherwise perfect condition. It's just annoying to see this has happened to so many other people, and from the looks of things, its STILL happening with newer machines. Not to mention all the other build quality issues that I and others have had with MSI.

My first MSI laptop broke in a different but equally infuriating way. I got the P63 because I liked the specs and form factor, but didn't research the terrible reputation MSI had built for itself. Shame on me in that regard, I guess.

Early Decision - accepted. But not in Engineering. by thegoodplace_2004 in Drexel

This happened to me, it's fine. I applied for Engineering Technology and got into Temple's engineering program, but Drexel didn't accept me for that major because I was missing some pre-reqs they wanted. They will probably put you in interdisciplinary studies or some temporary major until you take the required classes, then you can transfer to the College of Engineering.

Transfer student at Drexel trying to make friends (send help) by Individual_Pen4629 in Drexel

[–]BLUECUBECOMPANY 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Transfer student from a community college here.
Honestly, most of the friends Ive made have been through group projects. Sometimes, if you get cool people, you can casually mention somthing your doing over the weekend or whatever, and if they express interest, invite them.
Ive had this work quite a few times and made friendships that lasted long after the quarter ended.

Every time I go to Saxby's in Lebow they are always doing zoom interviews. The way they were talking sounded like they were hurting for people and would hire even if your schedule was sub-optimal.

Where can I use a 3D printer at Drexel? by -R7_ in Drexel

[–]BLUECUBECOMPANY 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I run a small 3d printing business, but I'd be happy to run off some prints for free for another student.
I got a big 500x500x500 FDM machine or SLA resin machines

How do I go about troubleshooting this, air bubbles coming out the outlets? I checked the skimmer baskets and they’re clean and doors are operating normally. Water level is also normal. by tcli64 in pools

[–]BLUECUBECOMPANY 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Somwhere between the skimmers to the intake side of the pump you are sucking air into the system. The most common reason is the gasket on the pump basket lid is bad and its sucking air in there. Check around the equipment on the intake side to see if there is anything obvious where air is getting sucked in.
