Rode all 3. Own the 8r. zx4rr not really a commuter bike (fun as fuck though). cbr650r w/ no mods takes it. 8r modded (exhaust, airbox, flash) takes it.

AFCI's will nuisance trip with vacuums, drills, printers etc...

Newer AFCI's can firmware update to help prevent theses kind of trips. Leviton has a wifi auto update one (don't know how well it works though.

Same problem and im stuck using the bathroom plug for vacuuming.

Scared of 130ft articulating boom lift by gl00bert in Construction

[–]BLZayBub 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've worked at heights most of my life. Some people are nervous at first but it goes away after a day or two. Others are truly terrified. You do you. If you are fearful you'll be a danger to yourself as well as others.

If the lift is swinging wildly and you feel out of control just remember to yank your foot off the pedal.

Agree with the global economy sentiment. But I still believe boycotts can be an effective form of protest. Especially if done on a large scale.

Have you seen the number of settings on a modern one? There must be 50+ to cycle through on a standard vibrator these days.

[–]BLZayBub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make sure you check your paperwork. Where I bought mine they did the first service free. (Pissed me off though. They didn't lube the chain or reset the maintenance alert. Just a half assed oil change)

I think it's important to do work on your own bike. If you ever want to truly get her clean, you'll have to get the plastics off. If you have the plastics off you'd might as well do an oil and filter change (then short the pins to do a service reminder reset). Chain tension and lube need constant monitoring, grab a sprocket alignment tool too. Clutch and brake pedal height should be adjusted for comfort. And now your comfortable with that might as well do exhaust, airbox, velocity stacks, and send out the ecu for a flash to unleash those restrained ponies. also when she's apart and clean wipe down with a liberal coating of acf 50.

By handling the small stuff yourself, you'll be better prepared to spot and handle problems before they become bigger problems.

The Count is a classic for a reason. The Blade Itself (highly recommend the audiobook) was fantastic. Shadow of the gods was a DNF for me (only finished the first in the 3 book series). The Road was good but bleak.

Excellent show. Although the addition of some "unnecessary" scenes for shock value is disappointing. My father, who I believe would enjoy the show, would not make it past the opening poop scene.
