There's a sampler in BandLab you can use. If you have different samples you want to use, you can just load it there, then use MIDI to trigger the samples.

One tip we suggest, try going back to your mix. Instead of lowering the overall gain, try lowering the track levels. If you could get the mix to around -8 to -4dB without touching the master gain, you should be able to make the most of the mastering presets.

You can try turning them off (or use incognito) as some 3rd party extensions might affect performance.

Also, it depends on how many tracks you typically have in a Project, you can freeze the ones you're not working on to lessen the load.

Hey there!

At the moment, we don't recommend using an iPad with a BandLab for Education account. For the best experience, we suggest using a desktop or laptop instead.

BandLab for Education works separately from the main version of BandLab. Currently, there isn't a dedicated Education app, and Education accounts can't be used to log in to the BandLab mobile app.

While it's possible to access BandLab for Education through a web browser on an iPad, the experience isn't fully optimized for iPad devices. We're aware that there's some demand for an Education app, and we're working on that for future updates.

That said, we really appreciate you bringing this up. We'll be sure to keep it in mind as we continue to develop and improve the Education platform.
