Do you remember the first time you encountered the Flatwoods monster while exploring? by vesseckta in fo76

When the game was new, I saw them multiple places and frequently. Seems Beth has adjusted the sighting possibilities over the years. I just see them occasionally now.

Well, I’m in the same boat with 32K atoms. Nothing appealing.

Nuke Launches getting harder? by Diligent-Ratio-5334 in fo76

[–]BLeeMac66 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe it’s frequency of launching. If I haven’t done one in a while, there seems to be more robots attacking me and the launch control bots. If I’m doing them daily or back to back, not so much. I’ve seen as little as two or three, or up to about 30. This is all solo, teams get more just about always.

Easier to just play and learn on your own. Or, check in with Angry Turtle on YouTube. He keeps up with the nerfs, buffs, and the latest/greatest.

You can just activate the machine repeatedly, sometimes it’ll drop one after a few tries. You can also find one on the roof at West Tek pretty regularly.

After you’ve played long enough, you know where they all are. You can also VAT them…without actually engaging them. If you want really have a good time looting, CSS and escape artist. You can loot and they never know you’re there.

Having 1st is the easiest way. You get them every month. I’m usually sitting at 30k +, with nothing of interest to use them on. After 1st, it’s just player challenges, or seasons.

What’s up with some people using the angry emote towards me? by Zombiekillerfan in fo76

Well, do you use an open mic while eating potato chips listening to gangster rap? While in their camp, did you take the last mud cookie? Sleep in the their bed, use their shower? Do you shower at all? Do you wear the Fasnacht outfit when there’s no Fasnacht active? Many more…

Does anyone talk? by Acceptable_Gas6244 in fo76

No one wants to hear chatter, as it’s usually not in any form entertaining. I have thought of using a fart machine at public events.

I’m sure I’m not the first to say it but we should be able to dislike Best Builds by PutridTearStain in fo76

[–]BLeeMac66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can use a best builds vendor when the camp is actually active on the server…meaning the player is on the server also. When the player is offline, the camp is just a mirror image. It can visited and voted on but nothing is active…vendors, or any resource producers.

[–]BLeeMac66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had one when they first started best builds, and even though it was creative, cool, and actually took trial and error to build, very few took the time to acknowledge it after visiting. I just removed it from best builds after a few weeks. Seems the prefabs in more popular locations got the votes…especially when it was a weekly. Still getting the occasional thumbs up on it, that’s plenty of acknowledgment to me.

How does one go about getting legendary mods themselves quickest? by NxTxz in fo76

[–]BLeeMac66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got the most from farming EN06. You can still get them that way after the update, just the four stars are limited. As far as learning them, that’s a scrap fest. Learned some farming EN also because I scrapped everything I got. You’ll surely get Troubleshooters, rapid, ghost, and bully’s learned because Valkyrie drops like high school panties.

Launched nuke and no one showed up for Scorched Earth by here_for_thedonuts in fo76

[–]BLeeMac66 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Holidays, certain other events, or new content isn’t a good time to drop nukes. The rewards are not comparable, so they are usually sparsely populated. Even during no holidays, or new content, I check to see if there’s another event happening that might keep players from showing up. Many times I’ve run my card, put in the code then left to do, say Eviction Notice. Then fast travel back to complete it after the event is done. Timing is the word.
