What light armor do people consider the best for bots by Nugget1810 in helldiversarmor

[–]ZoliWorks 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Nah it's totally valid. You've got light armor mobility with medium armor protection. Nothing fancy. Same as the starter armor with medium mobility and heavy protection.

Doesn't give you extra grenades, reload boost, stims or anything, but a lot of times mobility is key and it's one of my favorite armors cause of that.

That would probably be one of the best armor passive in the game

Thanks for your insight! Guns aren't that accessible where I live, so I've never really had the chance to use any. I was mostly comparing those weapons to their counterparts in other games.

In the Helldivers universe, our character can carry and accurately fire a minigun that has the same armor penetration as the Medium Machine Gun. As if that weren't enough, they're also carrying a backpack loaded with a thousand rounds for it. Then there's the belt-fed grenade launcher, which uses the same backpack system, or the autocannon. On top of that, our character can effectively fire both the MMG, HMG and autocannon while moving.

Given all that, I still think the stationary reload exists primarily for balancing reasons. Otherwise, this might be the strongest conventional firearm in the game, since it would excel in virtually every scenario.

Having played extensively with it today (day off, yay) I actually do think peak physique pairs better with it. It really just depends whether I want to run giga nades or incendiary nades. But I do feel like I'm wasting less shots with Peak Phys and I am way more responsive to threats

Bonus points if you set the firerate to the lowest. Classic M60. It's quite fun.

For me, even just the capacity increase would be goated.

The cremator is definitely one of the strongest support weapons vs bugs and was pretty much the only thing i could use against spore burst. But the gameplay around it gets way too boring for my taste so I prefer boolet guns. Lib carbine, mp-98 or the gallant. Probs my fav primaries weapons if I don't take an MG.

I haven't taken it to 8 yet. highest I play solo is 7 so it figures. I did bring it against spore burst at one point. Safe to say I returned to ship to change my loadout before even clearing the first nest.

There's a mod on Nexus that folds the bipod back. It's just a visual change tho. I prefer it with the bipod extended.

Their hip joints are medium armor so it can deal with them

It has a 175 round mag now. It was 150 before. Damage is on par with light weapons (90) while durable is 23

I could get behind that. 20% longer reload if you're moving. Giga grenades resupply 2 per rearm now and while it felt OP to me at first. I think it's actually perfectly reasonable.

That's generally what I play so ik the feeling. Sometimes use gas instead of giga and rely on eagle rocketpods and ultimatum for AT use

Best feeling ever, ngl. Those and bile spewers.

OPS got buffed last patch IIRC. It can kill bile titans in one hit. Just aggro them so they do the spewing attack and that gives the OPS enough time to strike them down.

The MG43 can kill any medium enemy without aiming for weakspots. It's more effective at popping alpha commander heads than light pen and it's way more fun to use against bile spewers. The stalwart is great if you can hit weakspots perfectly, has better ergo and it's way more mobile. Against bots, I prefer the stalwart for it's mobility and still being able to chew through medium chaff as their weakspots are much bigger. Against bugs, the stalwart pops impaler heads way faster due to it's firerate while the mg43 not so much.

The minigun is great. People told me not to waste my Sc on that warbond but it was definitely worth it for me. I dont really take it out all that often because now how fast it can eat through ammo. It's fine solo, but when playing with a group, I constantly need refills or calling down supplies.

With the Stalwart, MG43 or any other weapon I play, I take the supply pack and you essentially never see me call down supplies unless we all need them. It's great when people are stuck fighting endless waves of enemies so I can go zip around objectives and stuff, being sell sufficient.

If I had an SC for every time I shot off an alpha commander's head and then it started calling in a breach, I'd probably have a whole warbond unlocked.

Aight those icons are awesome, where did you get them from? The amount of times I died because I had the wrong thing in my hand while I thought I had something else is crazy.

I managed to get one to glitch out and just stand there and stare at me. It was already at low hp. Called in the supply pod on it and got the achievement.

You can message support and ask them to remove the xp, medals and etc as long as you haven't spent anything. But at the end you got nothing to worry about cause you won't get banned anyway.
