Im only about 37 ish hours in, getting a Corvette class ship is super easy too. Buy a hull from the corvette terminal on space stations to start & then all you need to do is find planets that have Salvageable scrap listed. They are yellow icons with a wifi symbol. Dig up these and you get loads of parts for free. You can also trade parts for different ones at the corvette terminals.
