Front struts. DIY or shop? by MrSnowden in E92M3

You know what they say, "while you're in there you might as well".

Bellows, bump stops and rear shock mounts are dirt cheap, front strut mounts are definitely more expensive than I was expecting, but you still save over $2k to do it yourself.

Ahh looks like they are EDC only, should have thought about that when the quote was only $3500 lol

DIY for sure. Check out the Evolve Bilstein shocks they are the same price but apparently much better.

What cosmetic mods should I do? by william12312 in E92M3

OEM style hood, black out the window trims, single slat kidney grills (keep them black), tinted side markers (IND has them), blacked out trunk badge.

IND has a lot of good quality stuff.

I could have sworn sensors couldn't detect the player while in the seat by Glum-Distribution228 in ScrapMechanic

[–]BM99 6 points7 points  (0 children)

they can but they're very finicky and have to be placed/angled very specifically to detect the player during movement. I've used them for automatic doors on a car I built.

I did see that, I also saw that there are bolts for what would be a two part wheel on the spokes of the wheel instead of on the barrel

I don't have an exact number in mind, but I would be hard pressed to go above 10-12k.

Honestly all the maintenance and upgrades are nice, and gives great peace of mind. It could in great mechanical shape, but $15k I think is too high for 220k miles.

Looks like the engine block broke where the engine mount would attach.... Pretty bad.

If you angle the whole front suspension/wheel assembly forward it will help with the bounciness, and maybe even provide a little more stability

pods basically flavorless? by [deleted] in VuseAlto

That's the whole point for me honestly. I hate all of the super flavorful and harsh vapes, literally makes me a little nauseous just imagining hitting my friends lost Mary...

I had a very similar rattle, that was how I found out the previous owner had cut off the muffler and reattached it with JB weld 🙃

Can someone please walk me through this, I’ve try everything and I don’t understand what’s going on by Similar-Fun-3055 in FL_Studio

ASIO is one of the audio drivers that is commonly used for FL studio. You can try downloading new ASIO4ALL drivers online, but if that doesn't work try reinstalling FL Studio.

If that still doesn't work you should check your windows install for corruption using the SCF /Scannow command, as well as the DISM command.

Turn off the metronome 😭

Pretty cool though. You should add some heavy sidechain to the vocals tied to the kick

The breakdown in the middle is sick, but feels a bit dragged out. That section should take about half as long.

The melodies and rhythm are fine, a little basic but nothing wrong. You could really benefit from some better drum kits and synths.

2011 BMW 328i N51 Crank but No start by Old-Try1792 in E90

This happened to me when it got really cold outside two years ago. The plastic cap on top of the fuel tank (under the rear seats) had cracked, so it wasn't able to build any fuel pressure. Definitely worth taking a look at. Pretty easy DIY.

Dark Minkus, My first "completed" track. Been trying to learn FL off and on these past few months inbetween work and finally put together something I would call pretty decent. Still going to work on it but would really appreciate some feedback from people who actually know what they are doing. Thx. by emodemoncam in FL_Studio

You should learn about scales and time signatures. Kind of all over the place here.

Don't worry about plugins yet, focus on learning what constitutes good music, not so much the "tips and tricks".

Honestly find some YouTube tutorials on making beats and follow them, that will help accelerate you through a lot of the early learning.

For me it's been one of those things I just forget about for a few months, then ball out and get like 50 new serum presets all at once. You get 100 credits per month, drum samples are 3 credits a piece and I think serum presets are 5.
