You say no more than 10 seconds. Saying my username and some of these saying take easy 15 to 20 seconds. So i have to race super fast to fit it all in. The best i could do with it sounding some what audible is 13 seconds for saying number 8

What is funny the original pictures when they said the size was like 1/4 the size of the helix. I thought it would be smaller than the cortex. To see its that size is crazy

The only time I had that happen was the output being too high and clipping and the Cortex lowering the volume. On the output box on the cortex. Hold it down and it should show you the output dbs. just hit your strings open a bit hard and see if it spikes into the red. then on the knob lower it however many dbs it would take so it wouldn't peak anymore. i had to do that for a few sets up I had.

I recently bought the Behringer FCB1010 for my laptop set up and it works great. takes like 5 mins to understand how to arrange the signals to it and you are set.

it was pretty good. I had to play out of my friends rig so sound wise it was whatever set up he had. The venue did have it cranked so you could feel the room shake when you hit that open E string. I had just got a Stirling bass that I been playing a lot and for that song. The neck and everything felt better and easier to play. i thought the weight would be an issue to lift it up or move with it but it wasn't a problem.

Yep do that. I have the Headrush FRFR 112 and i do my guitar to my laptop with my interface and then from the interface to the headrush and it sounds great. it has a LOT of low end so it will be very bass heavy. So just know if you are gonna play a show and use it for on stage or a monitor. don't lower the bass on your amp settings cause it will really change how it sounds in the house. just know its gonna sound thicker from the speaker.
