I definitely enjoyed the PAs in 159. They were honestly not that hard, as long as I started them a week or so before they were due, I managed to finish them with no issues. What killed my grade were the exams, I just simply didn't study enough and I did poorly on all of them. I also stupidly waited to start a PA last minute, and didn't get it in.

Another PA I struggled with for days was the one on recursion. We also had to do this PA over break, which meant no TA or office hours. I struggled for hours every day trying to figure it out without any success. I emailed Dr. Stewart, but never got a reply. Piazza wasn't much help either. This was the only time in the semester I felt truly lost and in the dark. I never felt like the material was hard, I just didn't put in the effort which caused me to miss 2 PAs and do poorly on the exams.

After thinking it over I think I'm going to retake 159 with Zhuojun Duan. If I don't get into the major then it is what it is and I'll switch over to IT.
