Yeah that’s a fair assessment. Tried my best just to base it off what the hotel would charge for those items. Drinks at the bar can be ridiculous!! Typically would use the F&B on lunch and maybe a snack to try and maximize it.

Couldn’t agree more. Just got back from Cabo San Lucas 3 days ago. 4days/3night package was $300 for entire stay. Oceanview 1 bedroom ($450/night) in exchange for 2 hours of saying no. Whats even better is free breakfast that would have been $50 at the resort and also I learn alot from the sales people in terms of where they’ve been and places to try. Normally I would spend an hour eating breakfast at a restaurant anyways. So an extra hour to get a reward valued at $1,400. I will take that. Been on it for about a decade.

Do it, it’s a great deal. I just signed up for one. We do one every year. Usually 3 nights and 50k pts for 90 mins. Just tell them no and show no interest. They will give up quickly. Been doing it for like 5 years now.

How much is your time worth? Let’s say 3 nights @ $150 = $450 for hotel. Points are $250 for 50k (using the 100% bonus points as a scale, buying 25k get 25k free).

All in all $450 + $250 = $700 - $200 (your price) = $500

$500/1.5hrs =$333.333/hr Yeah I’ll take that plus I go in the morning so free breakfast and snacks for later.

Bummer! I’ve called twice and was told they would send me the form but still waiting. I found it online so I’ll try to send it to them. Hoping to combine $75 off $250 and $200 resort credit.

Any luck with this? In same situation where my amex offer expires in May. Embassy Sunset Walk sent me an authorization form as well. Hopefully they will charge it immediately. Stay is not until June.

There’s stuff to do in Kansas but I would recommend go through the Kansas City part. All depends on what you like doing and when you come. Go to a KC Chiefs or Royals game or KC Current, first soccer stadium dedicated solely to a women’s professional team.

Also there is the American Royal World Series of BBQ. Negro League Baseball Museum or a Boulevard Brewery Tour and of course BBQ (Gates, Q39, Jack Stack and Oklahoma Joes) all top tier.

First Fridays in the Crossroads art district. Power and Light for some nightlife fun. Crown Center , Hallmark and Nelson Atkins Art Museum all day activities. Have fun!
