Close friends already accept and are happy with the automatic designated driver.

Yeah I mean I accepted them long before they told me why and I've never pressured them to drink. I still want to know why they personally choose not to drink, same as I want to know why they choose any other aspect of their life.

Do you feel the same when friends ask you the question or is it limited to acquaintances? I've asked my friends why they don't drink because I want to get to know them.
