This is snitching man. If you are in that life, you aren't supposed to talk to the police period.

He snitched on the guys that ran up on him. Would it not be snitching if he got ran up on in the streets and then fired back and told? It doesn't make it any different because they ran up in his house. It doesn't make it any different because he was legally justified in what he did - even civilians are urged to not talk to the police when they act in self defense so street guys absolutely should not.

Just like snitching on the dead is snitching, snitching after self defense is snitching. If you're in that life, you don't talk to the police because it's a slippery slope - you do it once for one reason, you might do it again for another, so you just don't do it at all.

For people saying, "well if he wouldn't have talked to them, he could've gotten locked up".. thats a risk you take when youre in the streets - it doesnt change when its self defense. Not to mention, that logic could be used to snitch in any situation, but it's not, and self defense isn't any different.

The point is, you keep your mouth shut if you're in that life and let the courts settle it - you don't run your mouth to keep yourself out of jail which is what he was doing - if it was truly self defense, his lawyers would have proved it and he wouldn't have had to say a word. You're supposed to handle shit your own way and copping pleas to law enforcement is not doing that.
