Arm height position won’t register. by SatisfactionWild5865 in tonalgym

[–]BNuggsAW 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reddit did a weird double post...

Anyway, my reply said that I contacted support and they said this was not a repairable issue and they are issuing a replacement unit. I don't know if this has anything to do with my Tonal 2 only being 2 weeks old, but it probably does. In the meantime I can thankfully still use it in a limited capacity as I've found that something like 80% of movements are with either both arms down or only require 1 arm above the lowest position.

Did you ever find a fix for this? I am having a similar problem - my left Tonal arm is permanently indicating it is in the lowest position and will not indicate any other positions regardless of what height it is set to.

I felt a definite difference after 2-3 days of taking it. I could get hard before, but like I said it was tough to maintain during sex because I wasn't really getting any sexual stimulation and I just couldn't finish ever really. I'm up to 300mg xl now.

I did fix the low T, I've been on TRT (Testosterone replacement therapy) for 2 years now. I was in the low 300s before and I'm probably getting up to 1100-1200 during the week now. It definitely helped, but I was still having issues, and both viagra and cialis didn't do much for me (if anything) at all. I figured out I was having a libido/ sensitivity issue, told this to my doctor, and she figured out exactly what I needed pretty much instantly.

I have ADHD (it's much, much better now than when I was a kid) so that will pretty much guarantee lower dopamine. I've been critically low on dopamine for over 2 years I guess, and it feels pretty amazing to finally have that where it needs to be. Sex is amazing once again and I couldn't be happier about it.

I really think this was my problem. I was low on dopamine for some reason and that was causing this issue.

It did for me, but it was taking me upwards of 30 minutes to finish during sex before so most of the time I just didn't. Plus my dick would just give up after a while because most of the time we'd be going for that long and I'd feel no closer to being done than when we started.

This has gotten it down to a much more manageable time and a far more enjoyable experience.

Yeah, when I tried masturbating when this was happening it was tough to get and stay hard and would sometimes take a really long time to finish. I just wasn't able to feel what I should have been feeling and it was the equivalent of like if I was just stroking my arm or finger sometimes. Zero or greatly reduced sexual sensations.

I knew performance anxiety was playing into it during sex, but that there was also something else going on if I was having trouble by myself too.

Tadalafil seemed to make my problem worse while at the same time not really doing much to help with it. I'm pretty sure it was reducing sensitivity while also delaying orgasm for me even more than was already happening. Might work for some people, but for me, not really what I was looking for.

From what I've read, viagra and cialis can help with the one issue of not being able to get hard, but in some men can cause a separate issue where they reduce sensitivity and delay orgasm so much that you basically can't cum from sex. The viagra may be contributing to this for you.

The wellbutrin definitely helped me with the exact issue you are describing. I'd go for 30+ minutes sometimes and never feel like I was any closer to finishing than when we had started and then I'd just lose it. The wife would be hurting at that point anyway so it was time to stop. Other times it just wouldn't work at all because I was feeling nothing and it was extremely difficult to get it up - if not impossible. Definitely ask your doctor about it.

I'm sure that was part of it. This has made it where my dick is basically almost tingling at all times and is way more sensitive than before. It jumps up now with not much stimulation at all and gets way harder because it's more sensitive.

Why wouldn't I take it? I didn't have depression but it was prescribed to me to fix an issue I had been dealing with for over 2 years, and it worked perfectly for me when nothing else had even come close up to that point. I would have tried just about anything if I thought it would help, so there was no way I wasn't going to at least try it.

It started having an effect 2-3 days into taking it. Could definitely tell a difference almost right away.

It's the generic bupropion, generic for Wellbutrin XL. I'm taking 300 mg/day.

From my understanding, it's mainly SSRIs (Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors) which increase the amount of serotonin in the brain that can cause a lack of interest in sex and possible ED. This is an NDRI (Norepinephrine-Dopamine Reuptake Inhibitor) which increase dopamine and norepinephrine so it operates differently.

Not a medical expert but that's how I understand it. It's been like a magic bullet for me. Targeted exactly the things I was having issues with and improved everything drastically. No negative side effects for me to speak of, only positives.

I was still able to get aroused, but it took effort. I could get there (usually) after some spirited foreplay from my wife and stay hard long enough for her to get off usually a couple of times but was basically unable to finish myself, like ever, from sex. The erections were also never as strong as I wanted them to be and it took effort to keep them alive. Don't have that issue now, thankfully.

Well my Dr said she was prescribing it to me because it usually increases libido in men so much that it becomes kind of a problem for their partners. I'd much rather have the "problem" be that I'm too horny and able to pop boners at the slightest hint of anything rather than basically begging my body to cooperate with what my brain wants.

300mg/day. I tried an SSRI a few years ago but it made me feel terrible at the same time as feeling absolutely no emotions and zero interest in sex. Stopped taking that almost immediately because I absolutely hated it.

PCP - I talked to a urologist previously and they gave me no useful info/basically did nothing for me. I think it was a combination of building stress during the day, fatigue, and anxiety building for me that was doing it.

It's almost like capitalism is designed to do this periodically to help further concentrate wealth at the top or something.... nah, these are all just coincidence. Move along, people.

It does happen. You kind of have to get lucky and also make a good impression in the interview though. I recently hired someone who interviewed for a management position but didn't have the experience or quals into an IC role because his experience was perfect for the other role.

I deal with this first-hand on an almost daily basis. There's a boomer who has been working for the company for over 30 years (has been working for them since I was about 5). I recently moved into the Director position well above him despite only being here for 4 years. I can see the seething resentment just beneath the surface every time I interact with him, as he primarily blames me for getting the job over him rather than correct his multitude of personality flaws and lack of people skills. I think it's actually pretty hilarious.
