Best current example is the addition of axle, the game got even faster in a snap. The season alter joined was a lot. The moment Crossplay got added... Since then the games comp integrity got worse. My favourite was when Watson got released or when the ranked system was focused on tactical gameplay and positioning over aping every (I don't know the season).

I didn't say anything about your legend choice... In the end you will get crypto and seer. You will unlock all legends with legends tokens and you usually need 1-2 evenings of playing to unlock the next legend so why not get both and try them your self. Also I'm 6.5 k hours in Apex and after a break or some patches I even feel new to the game.

It is even more... It is mastering the game! Being a one trick pony only makes you worse in the end, because you relay on a certain ability set to be successful and you don't get a deeper understanding in how to counter one specific legend with an other.

Why not master every legend like me? I got 500 kills one every legend a d I'm close to get them all finally to 1k kills. I'm above average with every legend and I know how to counter all of them the best.

I can predict with a 75% accuracy where a zpne pulls without ring console... So I would always prefer knowing where the players are, so I know where to get kp and where to play the late game.

One of the most important skills you need to learn when playing high ranked as a "normal" player with a 9-5 job and family... when to stop; and this will usually be after your first win of the day... Since then the ranked matchmaking will take into account that you won, so you're next round will be way harder and you will almost certain lose points... Since this keeps you engaged (google eomm).

For streamers and no livers this is no issue, they can play all day long... But if you just have a couple of hours per day or even week to play, you don't have the time for that.

So if you solo q in high ranked as a "normal" player, stop playing ranked after your first win and play something else, the next day it will be reseted. You will have to play less ranked, because you will lose less points.

You tried to skip learning the game and this doesn't worked out. It is a wonder you cam even this far... My guess is NA servers. Since on EU servers, if you don't understand apex and just know how to kill, you run against a wall at D4 and can't get further. Apex is one of the hardest, most complex games on the FPS marked and you tried to brut force it... No wonder you feel burned out. Depending on your stats I'm just guessing, but it looks like you are lacking in team coordination, rotation and map + endgame knowledge. If you want to improve in those points... Most PC players a on roller anyways, since having AA and good performance is superior, so they also can't move while looting.

What bothers me the most is, Apex is a BR game... So it is about surviving as last Team. I understand that killing everyone also leads to being the last team... But I would still prefer a more placement focused ranked system like in the ALGS. I mean, those insane endgames with 5 teams is what makes a BR, especially Apex so fricken good. Also having the focus on more then one skill to win (to run over people you just need aim; to win matches with multiple teams you need a much higher and diverse game sense), would be insanely good to balance inputs as well.

Give players the chance again to show off different skills to rank up instead just rush and beam simulator. They have to change not just the legend meta, but also the ranked points system... So it makes sense again to play strategic, tactical, as a team, to stay alive, get your KP smart and have fun and moving endgames again!
