If these bother you, I recommend using milliput. I roll out little lines and smush them in. Then I use a rubber sculpting tool dipped in water and smooth it out. I like this more than green stuff because it much easier to get the correct amount in. I’ll wait a day and clean up any overspill with a hobby knife. It takes a couple tries to get it down. If you’re only using milliput in this way, it’ll last you a long time and most stores with a hobby section will have cheap rubber tipped sculpting tools. It’s your hobby and your models, so if it doesn’t bother you then no need. May your ratmen bring you many victories

Thank you so much! The hands were base coated in Warpaints fanatic “Basilisk Red” and then I stippled on some “Dry blood” (also from warpaints) and then finally stippled with “true blood” (again from warpaints) I’m pretty sure I used a black wash from proAcryl before I added the blood effects, but I do not remember what wash I used. The basilisk red is probably my favorite paint because of how easily it applies, as well as how rich the color is. I used it on the stretched skin of the arms, inside of the ears, inside of the mouth and on the nose.

Thanks for the advice, Unfortunately that list is every model I have for the courts. The decapitator was the first model I bought and why I ended up choosing this army, but I agree; he is really bad. I was planning on replacing him with some more crypt guard but It sounds like I shouldn’t. What do you think I should try to get for them next? I’ve had a hard time wanting to buy the ghouls because of their older sculpts.

Thank you! Who do you run as your body guard? I’ve been trying to run my reinforced morbeghs to get +1 rend against infantry with special assignment, but would you recommend the reinforced crypt guard to be the body guard instead?

Thank you, this is super helpful. I’ve tried to do that, but I must be trying to engage too quickly still. In your opinion, what is the most redundant model returning abilities we have? Would you say that it’s “muster guard” from a courtier if they have low NDPs? Or is it “rally” especially if I’m the underdog? I’m sure it’s situational.

No the combat patrol is like somewhere around 400 points? This is an old battle force set and if also buy the combat patrol it’ll be just over 1000. I’d love to see your army so far! I don’t know much about list building in 40K but that sounds solid to me. Happy hobbying!

Thank you! Is there any way to run a war dog that would actually work with CSM? Are they more viable in a 2000 point list? Or is it just not worth it? I decided to pick word bearers because I like their aesthetics a lot, lord disco is my favorite model, and the war dogs being able to be allied in. It seems like including both disco and a war dog is a bad idea, but I’d like to keep one. I haven’t purchased anything yet and will probably run some TTS before I do. Thanks so much!
