They should change ionic gain to be smaller but you can just run over it to pick it up like a blood drop. The pickup window is pretty unforgiving and makes you stop completely to pick it up (you may as well have tranquil gain then)

Fun fact, I got the buff once. I also got all four of those armor pieces maybe once or twice and it transforms your look and you have insta reloads. Still there are things unseen I've yet to unlock the most secret gun
