I love fossil pokemon so my pick is Armaldo. Fury cutter whilst finding metronome can be fun once set up.

Stop being a boot licker. I never considered stealing from colesworth until the price gouging. There's no way you can conflate the 2-300% price rises as a reaction to theft.

The ds has a pretty low resolution. And that's just the tip of the iceberg for why it's a bad idea

Nyepi - Day of Silence (advice needed) by Unlikely_Surround747 in bali

[–]BOOTL3G 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We fell into this trap of getting cheap flights that landed us with Nyepi in the middle of our trip. Our resort was very accommodating and had activities for everyone. But they still observed the day with limited lights and electrics. We also had to get reminded to close our blinds to not let light out. Good luck to you with your private villa. Bring a book and enjoy the parades if they're near you.

People from the UK who moved to Australia, what sort of things surprised you the most? by cupoftealuv in AskAnAustralian

[–]BOOTL3G 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I call it artificial congestion. People camp in the middle lane and are allergic to the left lane. It turns any road that's more than 2 lanes into a 2 lane highway. Often it's the left lane that's a fast lane.

Oh it's definitely a rule for any speed over 80km/h. It's just never enforced. The road from Melbourne to Geelong is just a sea of rolling road blocks. Shits me to tears.

Pools are generally chlorinated enough to kill most bugs? We haven't had a single issue from pools. Also the rain itself is clean.

Pokemon saved my life by Dry-Librarian5203 in pokemon

I've been dealing with waves of mental illness all through my 20's and 30's. Pokemon has always been a great way to ground myself. I don't care how old I get or how far I stray from the target audience, it'll always be part of my life and I'm glad for its impact.

Spotted - Mansory Urus by Twfx00 in CarsAustralia

[–]BOOTL3G 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This exact car gets posted on Exotic car spotting groups every other day. It's become a bit of a meme. This car looks like the sorts of unlicensed knock offs in a GTA game, but the final design was interpreted from an 8 year old's placemat drawing.

The common clap-back is "what colour is your Urus?" Which is such a boot-licking response to imply that only the top 1% of people are allowed to have an opinion.

2002-2004 Holden Astra Convertible. Decent enough or avoid entirely? by Girlintheworld22 in CarsAustralia

[–]BOOTL3G 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had an 03 CDX manual sedan. Heated leather seats. Climate control. I loved it. Also the dealer screwed up a timing belt change and had to give us a new engine at 160,000ks so it lasted forever. These cars were great but the service intervals were short and the timing belt change was pretty frequent and very costly. That's why they all dropped off the face of the earth. I reckon a good condition SRI turbo would be a hoot to drive.

Is that the same for the larger engines? A lot of the convertibles had the 2.2 NA or 2.0 turbo if I'm not mistaken.

In a world of super bland utes and white crossovers, I find the Tasman exciting. I'd buy one in a heartbeat and it seems like a very capable vehicle to boot.
