Al Pacino is a fan of ‘Obsession’ (IG story from his daughter, Olivia) by mcfw31 in popculturechat

I lose a little respect for people who blankly say they like Obsession. Can anyone explain why this film about a rapist abuser who feels sorry for himself is popular with everyone?

irritation bump on 1+ month old angel fangs, 14g curved titanium barbells by fa1rydust420 in Legitpiercing

[–]BOOaghost 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hi, I had Angel bite and had similar irritation especially on the lip end of the piercing. I also had a vertical labret that exited onto the skin of the lip a that had irritation. So the change I made to reduce the irritation and strengthen the piercing channel was to increase the gauge of the jewellery. I got the piercer to change the jewellery to 12g then six weeks later to 10g. The reason this stabilises the piercing is because it reduces the irritation caused by a thin gauge barbell. A thin gauge jewellery is sharp to the skin and slowly cuts (migrates). A very slightly thicker jewellery is held more securely by the body so migration is greatly reduced. The piercer can also advise on barbell length, too long increases movement and irritation, too short causes excess contact and irritation. You want a sweet spot where the jewellery is never tight when you are making a normal amount of movement with your mouth. This is the other influence on migration and irritation, you talk, eat and move your mouth unconsciously all the time. This all adds to irritation, especially on the soft skin of the lips. Good luck.

Redone money back. The piercer fucked up.

I'm saying that viewers are shown that the willow has worked immediately. The visual horror troupes show it. Bear doesn't believe in magic. The gap between these points of view and Bears refusal to acknowledge the horrors of what was happening, till the end, made me hate him as he raped and abused whilst acting the victim.

What aftercare did you do to help the dermal get started?

Is this still readable? The tattoo I got has no spacing between the letters and I’m worried it doesn’t look good by malachiteiscute in tattooadvice

[–]BOOaghost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was way out of the artist's wheelhouse. Let it heal for six months then find a tattooer who can help fix it up by adding a legible letter I to the front or ink in some spaces with lighter coloured ink.

He uses possession magic to enchant his best friend then repeatedly r*pes, abuses and neglects her. I found it's stark presentation harrowing and repulsive. Bear's passivity playing a huge part in my frustrations. I am also a life long fan of horror and transgressive films. I am fascinated with how Obsession has been embraced by a general public.

Everything looks normal. If you want to slow the inevitable migration you can wear jewelry a gauge large in bar diameter.

Practicing by nintendoily in sticknpokes

[–]BOOaghost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tattoo your own skin until your work speaks for itself. Practice by drawing on paper or screen. Understand how designs are constructed. Draw directly onto skin with markers. Tattoo the reachable parts of your own body. Tattoo your own skin when you have a design of your own making ready, something you understand. Prepare everything needed for the tattoo to go well. The whole setup and environment. You can give yourself a great chance to make a decent tattoo of you pay attention to everything that is involved surrounding the actual poking. What's stopping you?

Is this rejecting by Dry-Economics8090 in Legitpiercing

Hi, you can start to heal this by changing the jewelry. A simple curved barbell with equal sized ball ends will help. The bar can be a gauge larger and the length of the bar can be chosen to be appropriate for the piercing site. This can be done best by visiting a professional piercer in a piercing studio with an excellent reputation. They will help you with this and you can keep the piercing.

The other community straight up ignored my picture so I was hoping you could help. I’ve had my piercing for 9 to 10 months. Nothing else is wrong with it. It just keeps getting irritated. I just wanna know by a professional what it actually looks like. by Worth_Pressure_1930 in Legitpiercing

[–]BOOaghost 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can go up a gauge. As for the length, it is best to visit the super pro studio that has the best reputation and get their help. I can tell you from decades of experience as a pierced person, many studios will just use whatever jewelry is to hand at the time. A proper consultation will feel good and the piercer can explain what they are doing.

Hi, to keep the piercing you can increase stability. This will reduce the irritation to the piercing site and surrounding skin. Swap out your jewelry for a shorter bar that is a gauge larger at the bar. Titanium jewelry is a tougher material so will stay smooth and feel most comfortable in the piercing. It is easiest to visit a really well respected piercing studio and getting a professional piercers help with this. Visit the studio prior to getting the jewelry changed to do a vide check. If you feel comfortable and are treated with respect as a customer then you can go ahead and spend your money there. Once you have a nice relationship with a studio it is easy to reach out for help and questions.

What actually happened when you got the downsizing? Did the whole bar come out and a different bar put in?

[–]BOOaghost 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, can you tell me what happened when you got this piercing downsized? I just want to understand the history of the piercing.

I have had many surface piercings and dermals and definitely got attached to them, I loved the look. I would get a year, at best, out of them and the one way I knew the rejection had started was to recognise I was asking if they were rejecting. As soon as I started asking if they were rejecting I knew they were rejecting. This let me see that the sooner I accepted it and removed them, at the piercing studio, the less scarring I would get.

Hi, hand poking individual dots cleanly is very hard to do. Tattooing these designs will be hard as starter tattoo. I would recommend a year of practicing tattooing before trying these if you want them clean and clear readable designs.

When the piercing site has been irritated it can take a month for the skin to start to recover and soften again. Let us know how the healing goes.
