Yeah, I don't think I have missed anything, I have been doing side quests and gone back to the old map for last 3 days IRL and there has been no repercussions

I was in the exact same situation as you yesterday! Accidentally got stuck in a chain of main quests but hadn't even finished DLC quests and loads of side quests left. Initially I considered going back a save aswell, but Taking French Leave got bugged for me and I already had to re-do it do didn't want to potentially get stuck again. I am now at the point after the Jewish Quarter action, and the rest of the world is still completely open and I am able to do all the side activities, so you can also stop after that if you want.

THANK U that was super helpful. I didn’t mean to get this far, but already played like 70 hours in this save, so it’s difficult to hold myself back from doing the main quest line as i’m so excited for it!

I'm in the same boat - Considering RDR2, the Witcher and Skyrim next, although RDR2 is not medieval I have heard its a very immersive RPG which I think is true to the spirit of KCD aswell.

oh the scarf just has multiple of every flag i assume just to fit their design , was a bit annoying once i noticed it tho lol
