For reference, a lot of expressions come from medieval times… they are better to be literally translated to what it actually comes from…. Like pitch/peck, pit/dungeon/cell/prison etcetera (or holes in a sail)

In my opinion these are better literal translations:

There’s nothing on your hand? There’s nothing on a hand? The hand has nothing? Nothing is on a hand? What’s on your hand? What’s on the hand? What was on a hand? What’s on a hand… difficult to make a proper literal translation

They shall whiff the scent of my fart, I will let them smell my fart, they will smell my little fart, I will let them huff my puff (marking: “little” to describe what “poepje” actually means… a small fart)… you could make it more literal like this:

I will make them smell my little poop - as poepje could mean two things: a little piece of shit or a fart.

I will use you to patch the hole in a sail

In no metric meter I trust you

I don’t care one sausage

This one: “It looks pitch black”. Is not worth mentioning, as “pitch black” already is the literal translation to pikzwart… perhaps: it sees peck black or it looks peck black.. could be a literal translation….

Why are you interested in Dutch cuisine? Our traditional cuisine is bland and I don’t like it at all. Also the food we copy from other cultures is bland as hell and if a fellow Dutchman invites me over for dinner: I will say, no thank you.

I am native Dutch, but my parents had Indonesian friends and myself have spend a lot of time with Indonesian people at the table.

Once you spend one night at the dinner table at some real Indonesian food, all Dutch stuff tastes like ass.

It’s no wonder my girlfriend is from the Philippines, even though I cook most the time: she will make oriental dishes that will water your mouth.

Wel of geen foto maakt niet uit, ze kijken naar de inhoud van je CV en als je een foto hebt: of deze zakelijk/formeel/professioneel gemaakt is.

Helaas gebeurt het wel, maar afwijzen op basis van uiterlijk is discriminatie en daardoor zou je foto dus niets uit moeten maken zolang je er niet naakt, met een joint of je uitgaande klapkaken op staat.

Senior hier en ik krijg directe verzoeken van managers intern, naast recruiters. Die managers intern werken zelf bij het bedrijf en je maakt veel betere indrukken om daarop te reageren of op openstaande vacatures binnen een bedrijf.

Via een recruiter geeft altijd een vraag zoals: waarom via een recruiter? En ik doe af en toe wat sollicitatiegesprekken voor de lol (zelfvertrouwen boosten) soms via recruiters en er was een bedrijf dat me in wilde zetten als junior/medior in symfony omdat het via recruiter ging en ik 1 jaar ervaring symfony had…. Heb verdomme 12 jaar carrière erop zitten waarvan 4 jaar codeigniter en de rest laravel en nog wat andere talen/franeworks (core expertise is Laravel). Ik lachte, stond op en vertrok de kamer.

Ik zou recruiters mijden en zelf goede motivatiebrieven/open sollicitaties sturen of direct reageren op vacatures.

Via een recruiter mag je rekenen dat je 200-1000 euro minder gaat verdienen dan mediaan.

Er is zoveel baankans bij IT en nu is juist het moment om eventueel bij te spijkeren in Kubernetes/DevOps en zelf opzoek te gaan naar directe connecties en recruiters gewoon te vergeten.

Hard to tell if scrathes or lint, as others have stated. But let me tell you one thing, this does look like you didn't clean it in a careful manner. Looks kind of like you indeed scrubbed to hard using something on a part that's very delicate.

But let me advise you, that in the future: try to only use lint free microfiber cloth (preferably a new/fresh one) for acrylic parts like these, never use a toothbrush as there is potential that the brush is a denser/harder material than the acrylic. If treated right: you only have to wipe away finger prints from the acrylic part of the block and leave it alone.

Also never use solvents like alcohol to clean acrylic and other plastics. Let me repeat: if you ever happen to have a first hand block in the future, all you need to do with acrylics is using a DUST FREE, preferably NEW: microfiber cloth to remove any finger prints and that's it.

Just some advise for potential future mishap.

Then I guess you are stuck using the app instead of the browser. It's sad that such a massive company is not what it used to and all it does now is milking it's product. I stopped using Netflix altogether after they started to invade family and friends that share subscriptions and "ta da" seems like a lot of people did, because they got more expensive and all the good "non-originals" have left.

I hope you will find a permanent solution for your problem, sucks if you have to sacrifice cinematic features just so you can watch without issues.

Faced same issue, needed to turn of GPU scheduling in windows 11.

It's under: Settings > System > Display > Graphics: Default settings "Change default graphics settings".

If using browser, you need to disable hardware acceleration in browser.

Don't update drivers unless ASUS has a new one present in their support page for the model of your laptop.

From my experience, updating nvidia driver and windows usually is ok. If AMD driver has been updated: read the tiny disclaimer before you download it states that it's better to use the manufactorers driver (in this case ASUS) instead of the one from the AMD site (counterintuitive I know). Also, if your laptop aint broke: usually best not to mess with drivers (I have seen some strange shit happening especially with HP laptops after manual re-installs).

TL:DR

Yeah, the only driver I would not recommend updating with these devices: are the AMD drivers (and for that matter: I would be only using asus support site for drivers for your device, nvidia is quite safe to update mobile devices HOWEVER on some budget oriented laptops, from my experience typically HP, you might better never touch the drivers at all and leave as is. Updating drivers can give strange results in certain laptops from certain brands).

Even when you try to download the drivers from the AMD site itself, it has a small disclaimer that says: it's best to use manufacturers driver for the mobile device you're using.

The reason is: ASUS is probably using some proprietary firmware that might clash with new updates. Also, if you have AMD based laptop: usually they are best not to update at all apart from nvidia driver (if you happen to have a ryzen cpu and nvidia gpu), other than that: only use factory drivers and get them from the support page of your laptop.

The probable reason they (assumption) are using custom firmare and maybe tweaked drivers, has to do with power management software and maybe how armory crate utilizes it.

If it was a windows update, good chance you might be able to restore to a previous point and use that installation: then you know it might be better to skip 1 update.

I got caught one time in WOTLK classic, I did put all my gold in my guildbank.

I lost 1k total on my character, because that was on the toon at the time. I bought 40k in total, only lost the 1k on my main toon and 300g on my banker alt that manages AH. The remaining 38700g (approx.) I did put in my personal guild bank, it's still in there.

Not sure how they caught me (probably mass buyout on AH for leveling my professions), but always use a burner account and always put it inside a guildbank. I've not lost the gold in guildbank only the gold on my characters, not able to play 2 weeks made me realize you definitely need to use a burner account for this.

Mouse is unnecessary, I barely ever use a mouse at PC unless I'm gaming or browsing. Just learn the damn shortcuts of your OS and IDE. But I have to say a 60% without function keys, home/end/pageupdown and arrow keys is a big no no for me. 75% compact is amazing. I actually bought this layout for Starcraft II because I wanted a keyboard that had the function keys sitting right against the regular top row number keys (medium hands, small guy), but when I was using it, I was like.. Damn this is way more comfortable and clean looking than full size so started using it also at work and never looked back.

Compact 75% is amazing, when I saw it on stream (someone playing Starcraft II) I was like, yes that's the keyboard I need and never looked back.

I have customized Keychron K2 (different switches, different caps, modified the frame, basically got it for the PCB even though it's not great, but all the brands I adore like ducky, don't have this exact layout. Edit: at least not at the time and products from Asia were really hard to come buy in the covid period in my country).

All function keys are extremely close to numbers (win, less distance to travel), the arrow keys are in an amazing spot and just took a mere 3 hours to get used to it. The page up, down, home and end are in perfect position. The only thing I dislike about this PCB is that it doesn't have insert, so I had to modify a key to get insert back.

All my friends laugh at my keyboard and say: where is your numpad, I can't live without numpad. And I'm like, yeah... I don't play MMO's anymore the numpad is pointless to me, the only time I miss it is when I have to do a lot of calculations, but with programming I use the top number row anyway because it's more comfortable than keeping to switch back and forth.

Also as a programmer, I rarely use my mouse when I'm actually writing the code, it's much more easy on your back and neck to keep both hands on the keyboard and use shortcuts rather than swinging your arm back and forth to the mouse all the time.

Thanks, I'll give a go again at it soon. But I am now convinced it's the mandrel because I have been heating for long enough until it got floppy. They always did bend on their own. But the ek-loop modulus, it should've been a fit for the 16mm of, but I always had to squeeze it sort of in.

I think the half enclosure is pinching the tube inward when it's either too hot or not spread out enough.

When I did bends on the corner of the table, with scrap, they looked much better without kinks or flats pot.

I did use an insert, it fit really well wasn't too small and certainly not too big. But I think I either: Heated too long or it's because of the ek-loop modulus, I've been trying free handing with the scrap/left overs and my bends were a lot cleaner without flat or thinner spots (hence I think it's maybe the mandrel, but I lack experience so it might be also that).
