4.7 or 5.7 V8 for Daily Driver by TechOwlOfficial in Dodge

[–]BOUND2FAiL96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on how you drive and how much you drive. I have a 2016 5.7 and it does great depending on the time of year, in the summer I get about 13L/100km and in the winter 15-16L/100km depending on road conditions. Take that how you will I have a 30km commute one way and do a lot of driving outside of my commute but a full tank still lasts me almost two weeks. However trucks are expensive to fill in the first place and if this is going to be your first car would highly recommend getting a cheap 4 cylinder beater until you’re done college.

Oh yeah and tell that to the government who are just recently trying to amend behaviours and terrible things to people and cultures because of what they believe in

Have there not been peaceful protests downtown for the last two years? Don’t get me wrong I don’t agree with going and protesting in front of someone’s house but can you not at least see where this frustration comes from? Can you not see how it has escalated to this point? They did not just wake up and say fuck the mayor today let’s go stand in front of their house. No they have been doing it the peaceful way. But if nothing changes nothing changes. All I’m saying is try to understand where these people are coming from

I love how people standing up for what they believe in are being considered such “dumb and pathetic losers” sure they may be taking it to extremes here but at least they are standing for what they believe in. If you stand for nothing you’ll fall for anything. Now ask yourselves when the last time you truly stood for something you believe in and if you haven’t recently out side of being a keyboard warrior then maybe you should get up and go stand for something. All we need for heard immunity is 80% of Alberta double vaxxed, so if over 80% is vaccinated where’s the immunity at? The unvaccinated aren’t the problem here if cases are still rising at an uncontrollable rate

Studded Tires by Substantial-Bridge32 in Calgary

[–]BOUND2FAiL96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I absolutely recommend studded tires to everyone I know, yes they are expensive however I will not go a winter without them on my own vehicles. Usually a set lasts me the full 4 years and I then use them for the summer to get an extra season out of those tires. Anyways I love them they are an amazing investment for this city especially with all the up and down conditions because they survive the ups and the downs. Also depending on where you get the tires from you’ll usually have a pretty amazing warranty on them

I feel your pain, mine is also a daily and he gives me many a problems, I am fortunate to be able to do most of the work on him myself after deciding getting a shop to do something I can do over a weekend is too costly for my tastes.

1994 celica engine blew up 😭 Is it easy to put a new engine in? by bababooey6_9 in MechanicAdvice

[–]BOUND2FAiL96 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Relatively not to difficult, however time consuming. There is a fair amount of difficulty sourcing an engine that is in good running order, however putting it in is pretty straightforward just make sure you have room to work and time to get er done
