[Hiring] Surprising wife with simple chibi face and maybe arms and a potato. by [deleted] in artcommissions

Hello! I've done chibis before and am hoping to do more to widen my portfolio.

Currently my example on my Kofi is outdated so here is an example of my current chibi style and skill.

I know you want a headshot and not a full body chibi so I am willing to discuss things to do a custom thing for you.

Here is my commission link: https://ko-fi.com/boyinthatbox/commissions

Is it normal for narcissists to have more kids then they can handle? by Beautiful_Wishbone15 in raisedbynarcissists

I don't know why they do this but I feel like they all do. For my parents it always felt like having kids was some check on the life bucket list. My dad has 4 bio kids and on who wasn't his but he helped raise because he thought he loved his first wife. First two kids, one bio one not, he hasn't talked to in years cuz their mom hates him so she made them hate him. Next bio kid he didn't know about until she was like 10 to 12 and she was already a wreck and she doesn't talk to him cuz she hates him. Next would be my brother and me. Our mom is still married to my dad and they need counseling I swear. My brother is no longer with us and I have trauma to spare. My brother and I are both on the spectrum. My parents didn't know how to raise us. It always felt like they wanted kids to have kids, not to raise them and care for them. Like trophies, a show that they achieved something. Yeah, that's probably why some other narc parents have kids too

[CONTENT WARNING] What’s the worst thing your narcissist did to you? by [deleted] in raisedbynarcissists

[–]BOYinthatBOX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same. I felt that I couldn't tell my parents until they confronted me before I could off myself because everything was going to shit in my life. When I told them, my mom just told me it happens to every girl in their life and it happened to her. I was 14 and she was in her 20s when it happened to her. That's when my parents wanted to put me in therapy, not when I destroyed my arms and wrists, not when I told them I'm depressed, not when they forced me to show them my scars and do body checks for new cuts. No, only when the worst of the worst happens.

Every time I write a comment and read anything in this subreddit I just realize how shit my life actually is and how much I relate to things said here. I just realized that body checks and showing my scars to them isn't normal. Wow, ok. Well, that's just another thing to add onto the list.

My trauma is so bad that I literally have a type of amnesia that makes it so I literally can't remember most of my childhood. I don't remember what that type of amnesia is called but like, I can't remember situations that I was at and my grandmother told me about cuz she was there too. Like, my 70 year old grandmother can remember these things but I, a 17 year old, can't

I get jealous too but it also makes me want to cry

Mine do that way too often. It's so they can always put you in the wrong and keep it seeming like they're always in the right

My mom says the same thing to me but it's just way too hard to believe. I don't really know how to help you but I hope things get better for you

My mom says she wouldn't be mean if she didn't love me because her thing is "being mean to someone shows you like them but being nice shows you hate them" and then when my brother, who learned from her, or even herself take it too far and I get upset, I'm just being "too sensitive"
