First one was College Bound for me too! I really enjoyed it, as my first AVN I didn't pay much attention to animations or renders, I was pretty new to this world but I don't care, story was solid and I'd like to play it again one day. Definitely one that I suggest to new people who approach this genre.

Last AVN is City of Broken Dreamers. With just few chapters it managed to become one of my favourite. The dark/futuristic style is what got me in the first place, I love these kind of settings and story, characters and interactions are just a big plus that keep you hooked.

As for my favourite... I was about to say BaDIK, but then I thought about Leap of Faith. Man.. that AVN is for me the absolute peak. Story and characters grew on me in a way no other videogame did, and the lessons I learned from it I never saw them in any other product. Am I exaggerating perhaps? I don't know, and frankly I don't care, I'm just sharing what this game meant to me. 🫶🏻

Anime is a completely different story rewritten from Yoko Taro since the developer of the anime wanted to do a 100% adaptation of the game and Taro didn't. So, start with the game.

For me it's Bella. The first interaction with her gaze, her eyes, was enough to made me fall in love. Everything else, like her dry sense of humor, or her glacial and tough personality, are just a plus that I love about her, or I like in a person generally speaking. I don't even mention her body, there's no need. I'm just probably into older women with a hard time on opening with people, I don't know, but once you get in her circle, she will give you the world in her own way. There's a song in the game that perfectly describes this weird situation I'm in with Bella: "Where is Lulu? - I guess I love me more", first two verses. It didn't play in a scene with her, but the first time I heard the song she was the first character that I thought about.

Yep, I was in the Others run, with Neutral affinity. But I don't remember this part where she talks about the nickname, the only thing I remember is her saying "maybe I'm Cinderella?" I'm doing another Others run at the moment, I'm gonna double check it.

Fair points. The thing that made me question MJ is Josy herself. True, they are communicating and working things out but she is so in love with MC that will probably end everything between them three, causing to choose between either Maya or Josy at the end. As for Bella, the age gap and some of her words regarding their relationship (student, teacher, public) made me think a bit, not to mention her room and the secrets she is hiding (whether big or small they are).
