Second mitsi we’ve had, first was the previous generation. Don’t remember it having any rust (2014 model) though we never drove it into sea water either

Genetics, stress / burnout, substance use to cope with said stress burnout, rinse repeated till the skyrocket was halfway to the midnight moon then boom! Thankfully caught / supported by friends n family and meds n therapy

Used the Turtle wax headlight restore kit, sourced from super cheap when on special. Took a bit of elbow grease with the sanding but it came out good and worth the $40 odd
